There were a few problems with the previous request thread that I plan to fix with this new one. The last one worked for a while, until we got a little behind in the requests. This time around I will add a few rules to the thread for both requesters and designers.
FOR REQUESTERS:
Follow the following guidelines while requesting an image:
1. Type of image (sig/banner/icon) :: Specify Size if you want a specific size
2. A general theme of the image
3. Provide images if you would like certain images in your final piece (keep in mind some work better without them)
4. Text you want in the image and specifics about its possible location or color scheme
5. Color scheme for the sig, and background ideas.
6. Provide at least 3 days for an acceptance before asking again, and at least a week for the final product.
7. Treat the designers nicely. They do this for free. If you do not like a certain product, you can request a certain designer in the post.
FOR DESIGNERS:
Follow these rules and guidelines before accepting an image request:
1. Make sure you can do what they're asking before you accept a request.
2. If they requested a certain designer, you may offer to take the request, but allow them to say no without being hurt.
3. Once a request is accepted, you have a week to finish, if you can not finish it that quickly for some reason, make sure you tell the requester and provide the opportunity to another designer to make it should the requester ask.
4. Be kind to requesters, we're all part of the same system you know
FOR ALL:
This new thread will have some mild rules that the other older thread did'nt have. We will allow only 6 requests to be open at once. A designer can also only work on one image at a time as well as to prevent possible overloads. The spaces below are going to be for the requests currently being worked on. When a request is accepted, edit this message with the current request filled in on one of the given lines below. If you can not do that, ask an officer or myself to do it for you. Follow the example below when replacing a space. When a request is complete, you may replace it with a blank line of three dashes
IN PROGRESS:
EX: Requester username : Designer Username : Date of Due Date
