Here is the place where you can discuss everything related with new DMC.

So I will start with a question - what would you like to change in Ninja Theory vision of DMC?

Personally I hope that they will give players a chance to control old Dante (maybe some costume or something like that). I would also like music similiar to DMC3/4, because in the newest trailers the music is much worse than it was. Locations could be richer in details, I hope that there would be a Castle inside the Dark City

In the latest trailer you can see the white hair, dante we are all used to, unsure if its a skill tranformation or a devil trigger or something but hes still there at least.

One thing id like to see changed is this game shows a detailed before of the devil may cry series instead of a stupid reboot.

Yup and it's looking better and better I like the design of Limbo, DMC world have never been so dynamic like it is now Enemies created by Ninja Theory are looking quite demonic too so, it might be great DMC. I'm only afraid of difficulty, enemies at gameplays looks  less aggresive for me, than they were in previous DMC's (not in DMC2 of course). I assume that normal difficulty would be lame easy, but I hope I'm wrong! Damn I want DMC so badly!

I haven't gave out my two cents on here have I? Well here's what I have to say about DmC. I like it! Mainly because it's a fresh new start to the series (not saying I hate the old DMC series), the gameplay is fantastic, I find it to have a bit more of a darker atmosphere than the old series (if it wasn't dark enough that is), level, weapons and enemy design are well made, and I'm positive that this game will have a good difficulty setting to give us a good challenge. The only thing I didn't like about this game is the new Dante look, but I'll not argue about it and that alone will not stop me from gatting and playing this game. I'm up for new changes and I'm willing to give Ninja Theory 's version of DMC a shot. That's all I have to say about it.

The new dynamic and quite vibrant look and feel of things does really fit this point in the DMC timeline, at least to me. I do agree on difficulty as i really loved the first devil may cry.

For the enemies we have seen yes i do agree for the most part they do seem somewhat slow to react and rather laid back, although that may not necessarily be true for other enemies.

The only part of this game im a little cautious on, this far, is the new dantes attitude. He swears a lot and isnt quite as witty etc as the Dante we know, however he is young, isnt as experienced etc so it does fit although i am a little worried it may be overdone and just get annoying after the first few levels.

Well, as for the new Dante honestly I must admit that I've totally hated his new look, and attitude at the begining. But now I can say that I've kinda liked this rude type He reminds me a little of Novak Djokovic (I'm a big fan of tennis, so maybe that's why, although my favourite players of all time are Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal) and well I think that I will like him even more during the whole game, cut-scenes might be such rude and at the same time funny like they were in Bayonetta for example.

You know what I'm afraid of too? Weapons, it's just me or in each gameplay Dante only uses one sword, that is transforming in scythe and a pair of the same guns? Let's hope that it won't be total letdown like it is, in Ninja Gaiden 3.

I'm not too concern about the weapons. In the gameplay demos it looks like Rebellion transforms into other types of weapons, but I doubt (storyline wise) that Rebellion has that ability. Then again this is Ninja Theory's DmC after all. Anything could happen, since this is a reboot.

They showed Vergil in new DmC, see trailer at the bottom - http://www.ppe.pl/news-17259-Vergil_pojawi_sie_w_DmC.html

My God, I get used to new Dante, but Vergil, huh...who the hell is that? I'm afraid that cm is shocked also by appearence of her favourite character.

WHERES THE RANDOM FIGHTING, WHERES THE ........... *head explodes*

I agree totally, who in the hell is this guy i think i can tell gameplay wise the game will be brillaint however story wise im really worried about this game so far, i really dont see it ending well and i HATE this new virgil, im really hoping that this truly is a younger virgil and he does at least show signs of turning into the virgil we know.

The DmC's Vergil's face kind of reminds me of Nelo Angelo's face without the demonic, possessed face painting from DMC 1. Plus this Vergil is slightly bigger than DmC Dante. I honestly don't mind the look, but at the same time it's not that special. Part of me wants this Vergil to be playable, but I entirely doubt that it gonna happen. As long as he becomes a boss to fight in DmC, then that's fine by me.

Oh great... somehow DmC Dante made it into the Playstation All-Star Battle Royale roster.

Why not the Old Dante we know and love?! Instead we get "this" Dante!

I'm nearly 100% sure that Dante relations with Vergill will change during course of the game diametrally - from brotherhood, to  anger and hate. There is even slight clue abut that in above trailer So Vergil would become a boss definitely.

As for Playstation All-Star - damn, despite of Sony "borrowing" ideas from Nintendo, I don't understand why they've decided to put THIS particular Dante (who is multiplatform) in their game. This doesn't make sense for me...where the hell is Sir Daniel Fortesque, or Crash Bandicoot? These are true Playstation Heroes!

Well as long as they stick with the original serie's roots, then we're all good to go. As for PAS yeah it seems that Sony is taken some pages out of Nintendo's book. First the motion sensor romotes, a battle royale brawling game, what are they gonna take next? Make a Sony version of a gamepad with a touch screen in the middle? Anyway at least Snake is not on the there, since he's already belongs in the Super Smash Bros Universe, but then again we may never know what gonna happen next.

oh no! And I thought you're going to be dissapointed with Vergi's look. Okay, okay so the colour of hair is the most important thing, okay

lol

the hair colour isnt the most important thing but 2 me the white hair has always been like the main/key/iconic feature that makes dante different and stand out as the main hero character in the series.

i feel any old hero can look as boring as the new dante look lol. main characters need a part of them to be unusual 2 make them stand out.

im not sure if that explains what i am trying 2 get at but im sure u can guess wut i mean lol.

Yup I understand your point, but mainly Japanese developers are able to make their characters unique. The same happened with Castlevania, Gabriel Belmont in Castlevania LoS doesn't have anything to make him unique like it was in previous Castlevania games. The same is with this new Dante. I don't know why but Western developers doesn't have any creativity when it comes to creating characters. Let's take a look at Darksiders for example, it's very good game but main hero looks so boring, like one of Warcraft characters. The same goes for Assassins Creed, damn it's  awesome, but Desmond Miles is such a damn piece of wood. And let's back to Japanese developers - Dante, Bayonetta, Catherine, main hero of No More Heroes, they are characters that really have something unique  around them!

That is one of the main reasons why I like Japanese video games more, than I do with Western video games. Japanese developers always try to give their characters more of a "back bone".  Characters, who matcio mention earlier, grow on us, because of their ego, their appearence and of course their UNIQUENESS. It's because of these characters that I appreciate the Jap developers for bring them to live in the video game industry.
