Anyway, what's up with calling this thread "Soldiers of Sorrow"? Kinda depressing.

I just took a listen. A commentor took the words right out of my mouth. It sounds like it should belong in a Broadway musical, but it's still really good. Thanks for linking!

Not as closely as I used to. But I'm watching some of the playoff games.

I'm callin' the Phillies and the Yanks to the World Series, Phillies in 6 games. They have a unbeatable pitching this year.

They were amazing against the Reds. If they pitch like that the rest of the playoffs they will be unstoppable.

Roy (Doc) Halladay + Roy Oswalt + Cole Hamels = Lights Out

Nobody have a chance to stop them except the Yankees but their pitching is questionable. The 3, 4, 5 hitters are best in the league not to mention the whole incredible lineup with Berkman in the back. That is why they have shot.

Yankee bats are much more impressive than the Phillies. The Yanks up and down the line are better and they have the better pen as well. The only thing the Phills have is a more solid rotation even though Hammels isn't much better than Hughes

I wouldn't say much more impressive. With the NL getting home field advantage, Berkman and Thames are only good as pinch hitters. That being said, Hughes no where near Hamels level. He may be an all-star but that was because of his wins thanks to his run support. Not to mention he was picked by his manager or else he would have never made it. Cole's earn run average is much lower and he strikes a guy out more often than Phil does. Phil can not even take his team beyond the seventh inning on his best day. The Yanks are using a four man rotation adding AJ into the mix. That guy is so easily roughed up. I doubt the Yankees can even get two wins off the Phillies... assuming there will be a WS rematch.

C Jorge Posada = Carlos Ruiz

1B Mark Texeira < Ryan Howard

2B Robinson Cano > Chase Utley

SS Derek Jeter < Jimmy Rollins

3B Alex Rodriguez > Polanco

LF Brett Gardner < Raul Ibanez

CF Curtis Granderson > Shane Victorino

RF Nick Swisher = Jayson Werth
