when you get to the norton's hideout, fight the noblemen guy. don't quite kill him, but get him close to death. he'll ask you to spare his life. if you choose to do so, he'll give you an item that you should be able to sell for i think around 8000 fol. keep doing this with them to get some easy fol in the beginning of game.

The easiest way to get money at the beginning of the game is just to complete maps.
You can do all the overworld maps and Kirlsa Training Facility without the Ring of Disintigration.

The easiest way I've found to do it is circle the perimeter while walking towards the wall. The hard part is getting the nooks and crannies along the outer wall. Filling in the rest of the map is easy. Just make sure you circle some of the larger objects mid-map as well.

I found it alot of fun to try and complete maps before I was strong enough to survive the area.

...which becomes hilarious when your party is so weak in comparison to the creatures there that encoutering even one of the enemies there will result in yoour entire party being owned.

I find the best way to complete the maps is wait until the end of the game or after the MoT.

Probably the easiest way, but kinda pointless by then.  The sell price of the bunny statues is a drop in the bucket that late in the game.  The time it takes to completely clear a map you could have earned several million fol taking on the rank 1 dragons in the arena.

It's still worth it to collect the bunnies for the speed increase most of them give, though.

True, but they don't stack, so you only need one of the small ones.

I like the speed bonus of the 1/1 scale bunny. Makes the game challenging!
