Not really a fan of the title, just doesn't roll of the tongue right..."What are you going to see?" "Oh I'm going to see 'The Dark Knight Rises'", anyway interesting that it won't be the Riddler. It seemed like the most obvious choice and maybe that is why Nolan decided not to include the character.

"Nolan was most eager to talk about the fact that Warner Bros. had agreed with his argument that the film should resist the current 3-D craze and instead use high-definition approaches and IMAX cameras to strike out on a different cinematic path than the stereoscopic technology that, for better or worse, has become the dominant conversation in the blockbuster sector."
Aww... I like the rumor named of "Gotham City." I'm fine with no Riddler. They should start introducing other villains from the comic books like Black Mask.
I wouldn't have a problem with 'The Dark Knight Rises', but the last one was called 'The Dark Knight', so to me there needs to be more variance than just a word slapped onto the end of it.
I say Hush fits Nolan's style. One of Brucwe Wayne's best friends as a deranged killer? Andf if they unmask Batman (which wouldn't surprise me) who better than someone that knows him. But if they have Catwoman, get Kate Beckinsale... just to see her in the outfit!
YES but anyway I have no problem with the title, fine with me

I can't think of who the main villain might be.
Ra's al Ghul, Scarecrow, The Joker, Two Face, The Riddler, and Harley Quinn are out.
None of the other big villains seem like they would fit in with Nolan's movies very well so I guess they might go for a lesser known one.
I'll put my money on Black Mask as the main villain with Catwoman as an additional villain that will help take down Black Mask.
Not really scare escpaed arkham and he can do it again. I pray this time Nolan actually gives scarecrow the time he DESERVES, hes one of the most interesting and underrated villians ever. not to mention cillian murphey has him great
I again don't see the big deal about the title. Unlike the Transformers thread, though, I actually sorta like the title chosen here.
I was expecting something along the lines of The Dark Knight Returns, but Rises is a fine alternative. Particularly coming off of the last film, where he essentially "fell" in the end.

He's not going to waste the entire movie or even a 2nd villain on something he has already done. At least I hope he won't.
