Choose from Retaliation (you explode on death killing those around you), Speed (makes you move faster with multiple afterimages of your character appear making you harder to hit). defemse. etc.. there's about 6 or 7 in all...

The downside to this mutator is, it's slightly buggy and sometimes crashes (when you die, it's supposed to eject the item you carried so others can pick it up, and that's where most of the problems come from)...

I'm not sure if you can disable the relic dropping to the ground or not, but that should solve most of the problems...

I'm still looking for some of the special weapons i've seen on other servers.. one special weapon is the benali shotgun.. it rules and I want it.... but apparently it's part of some weapon pack somewhere that I can't find...

Is there a site for weapon models? I want to change the look of the Minigun without changing the way it fires.

There's probably a way to do that by changing the static mesh.. but how to create a static mesh? That's for someone with Unreal Ed experience to answer...

I have one mod that changes one weapon's static mesh with another... so I have a minigun/chain gun that looks like the rocket launcher (only with different colors)... and it has to spin up before it fires... it's bad ass though...

If the file is a zip file, you have to unzip it... if it's a .umod file or otherwise if the icon looks like a UT2004 symbol, you can double click it usually and it'll load up UT2004 and start it off....

The only reason to use UTcache is for maps you download while playing online... those maps, textures, sounds etc. are sent to the cache and without uncaching them, will be deleted automatically if they're not used for 30 days....

Another useful thing I was thinking about:

Dodge jumps: press the direction twice in rapid succession and you will do a dodge jump... this makes you much harder to hit as long as you're not just doing it repeatedly.. mis it up

Shield Jump: When you charge up the Shield Gun, aim at the ground and fire and jump at the same time... if you do this with the Berserk adrenaline combo, you'll REALLY fly.

Lift Jump: when you get on any kind of elevator, just before you reach the top of the elevator, jump and it'll launch you WAY into the air. Use this to reach some places that are otherwise unreachable.

Double Jump: Before you reach the apex of the first jump, jump again for an extra boost.... a good way to practice this is on low-grav maps, since you have ample time to see when the apex of the jump is...

Wal Jump: this is basically a dodge jump off of a wall... to perform this, you jump towards a wall, then dodge away from it... this can be an excellent evasive manoeuvre...

Some of these jumps can be combined for even MORE air... Give it a try

WHen you download a mutator that is in a zip file, there is usually a nifty little file called "Readme.txt" in there somewhere... and if you read it, it will usually tell you where to put the files...

Sure... like I always say... I'll just remove anyone who proves to be annoying or harasses me.... (I've only had to do this like twice, but it does happen)

The registry fixer has to be told to "allow changes" before It does anything...
You select the UT2004 tab, then make sure it shows the right path to the game... if not, click on "allow changes" and fix it... and make sure all the boxes are checked and that the bottom panel has your CD-Key in it... if all of that is done, then select your language, click "insert" and it SHOULD fix the registry for you.. reboot and try again...
