  im going Beta

  thats right im going Beta. managed to get ahold of a Beta Key for SOCOM:Confrontation on PS3. im donwloading as we speak i acutally i have never played a SOCOM game but the opporunity to download and experiance a Beta testing was to tasty to resist so i went for it. took a while though haha.

  there was something else i wanted to talk about but i cant remember what..... oh yea. i had a interview at GAME today and it went pretty well. like i dont really like saying "ahhh that went awesome" cause if i dont ge he job i will feel like a right d*** haha. still here is hoping i get it cause working in a game shop woudl be ideal. i can actually apply knowledge and experiance to that job and i actually find helping customers rewarding so it will be good. plus 25% discount on software is always a added bonus hah.

  game news i finally finished GTA 4. was it worth it? not really hah. i didnt really think the ending was that amazing or spectacular and i didnt leave me feeling rewarded in any way. still there was some great missions in the game and it is fun. i just dont think is nearly lives up to all its 10s. still i got to the end which adds another finished game to my collection i would give it about 8.4 and thats being fair. my opinion, so my score haha. what did you guys think?

  Nintendos products indestructable?

  after browsing the internet i found this

  

  this gameboy was damaged in the Gulf War. it has been totally incinerated but still works. this amazing piece of technology is now on display at Nintendos store in New York. but now thinking about my own experiances i really do think its near impossible to destroy a Nintendo product.

  i want to look at my Gamyboy Colour. i dropped that machine countless times on concrete, slabs, down stairs and even left it on a cooker. but all that was on it was marks and a the back cover melted of due to the cooker haha it still worked fine with a clear screen.

  next my Gameboy Advance. i bought it while in America and that console refused to die. i took it everywhere and i couldnt see the screen due to scratchs but none of that matters cause the main event of its life was i dropped it in a muddy puddle. i was so gutted as the console turned of i thought it had died. but nope. put in new batteries and it worked fine. i mean a handheld that can withstand water is truly amazing.

  moving on the my Nintendo 64. now this wasnt my one but my friends. he took out the expansion pack to take to mine cause i didnt have one at the time. after a play at mine we went back to his and it was a wet wet night and it accidently fell out fo the car. we couldnt find it so we assumed it was in the car and we would get it in the morning. that night it rained so much and then it reached freezing temp so all the water froze. in the morning we found his N64 expansion pack in a frozen puddle. obviosuly gutted as we seen it but we thought we might as well would try it. dried it on the radiator and.... you guessed it, still worked.

  there was another story i read in a article. it was about 2 people going to climb Mount Everest and they both took a PSP and a DS for entertainment if they got bored of climbing. apprantly the PSP died about the same time as their radio and portable TV which is pretty good i thought. but whats more amazing is the DS surpassed the explorers mountain GPS. i mean just wow. a console that withstood freezing tempatures and the highest of alitudes and thinest of air. one of them never made it to the top but the other said he played Madden NFL atop Mount Everest. what a creation it is.

  these are the main stories but others include the fact my Gamecube kept falling of its unit (which was a fair height) and didnt die. it also fell down my stairs and my friend kicked it and a disc came shooting out but it refused to give in. my DS and Lite both have been dropped a number of times but still work perfectly as well as my Wii always getting knocked over by my dog. SNES and NES have been through torture in my younger days but just dont die. it truly is a joy to see such fantastic build quality as PS2's were prone to breaking and look at the 360. i mean it dies just cause it doesnt cool well enough. i think every company should take a leaf out of Nintendos book and make War Proof Consoles

  so do any of you have any stories of unbreakable consoles, Nintendo or not? or even a toy or electronic gadget that received ultimate punishment? if so leave a comment telling me

  went to see Deathnote and some pics :)

  yes time for more...

  News With Stu

  i like that wee title haha. as displayed a went to see the deathnote film and it was ok. i wouldnt really have liked it if i didnt love deathnote. Light was a bit awful and they didnt get accross his coolness or his intellgence very well. and they changed some things and did them worse which i was confused about. oh well i still liked it. i thought Watari was the perfect role. it just was Watari all over and i thought L was pretty good but still not as good as the anime or manga role. and Lights dad was pretty awesome to.

  i have also uploaded a few pics from Thursday night. the Twin Atlantic gig where i wrecked my leg (which is now really bruised ) the pics are of me (in red) and ROSSGOUGH (in green) with Sam (the singer and guitarest) and Barry (the guitarest). if you see them you can tell it was a sweaty night haha. there is also a pic with me, ross and my gf with 2 of the Xcerts (support band) and the drumstick i got fantastic night and cant wait to see them again. Twin Atlantic sent me a message saying i was a contender for their biggest fan. im well happy haha.

  game news i started Oblivion again. reason being? well i turned into a vampire so i couldnt go out during the day and to get the armour and weapons of the Nine i had to absorb a curse which means my fatigue drained after 1 swing of the sword so i couldnt kill anyone i mean i just ruined my game by making bad decesions haha. still i started again and with more experiance of what the game is about im doing better already and cant wait to get further
