Brand new review of Saints Row: The Third! This one is wild! Check it out!
I've been pretty busy these days, with school and gaming, but I'm having time to get a PS Vita and Touch My Katamari with it. Before trying that, though, I picked up Motorstorm RC for free yesterday. It's fun...as a diversion. I like the Vita's interface and online functionality. I don't like the low battery life.
On the console side, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is my focus. It's pretty much what would happen if Skyrim and God of War had a kid. I'm pretty hooked on it right now. It has the RPG variety you'd expect from Bethesda, but has a solid action element to keep things accessible. Once again, I'm having trouble following the main quest. I keep getting distracted by side-quests and simply running around fighting enemies. About five hours in and I'm still barely beginning the main quest!
Also, another anniversary from Gamespot. Another year.

@AK_the_Twilight: No problem man, I've been trying to recruit people left to right, but it's been hard trying to do it by myself. It feels like no one really cares much about unions these days. Or perhaps I'm just asking the wrong people? :P I'll keep trying though. :)

@pspitus Oh, you bring back such fond memories. That could definitely be a possibility. I've been writing for DefaultPrime a lot lately, so that's been taking up a lot of my time. It really depends on whether we could get some new faces too, since only having a bunch of veterans like us would be boring. I'd love to see some fresh reviewer talent on Gamespot, though. Get the word out to some of the Top 100/500 Reviewers (or anyone who posts solid reviews frequently) and keep me posted on that, man. :)

@Zeromus1337 It's a crazy fun game. Not many games have convinced me to go for 100% completion, but Saints Row: The Third is coming very, very close. :D @Asagea_888 It's definitely a lewd game, but I'd still say give The Third a go. As for Reckoning, I will be writing a review very soon. It's an engaging game, but it still is drenched in "Skyrim juice." I know it was never the purpose of GTA, but sometimes when playing the series I wish it would get a little bit wackier, it is a game that takes itself too seriously, which is why I liked Chinatown Wars so much: it is a little bit looser than the rest of the games of the series. Maybe Saints Row can fill that void for me.

I'm not a fan of Saint's Row, but I liked your review on it! Thumbs up, my friend. Glad you're liking Kingdoms of Amalur, too. I played the demo some and thought it was interesting, but I might just hold off for a price drop. Or better yet---I'll probably wait until you pen a review on this game as well!

I've recommended your Saints Row: The Third review. My brother got the game for Christmas and I'm feeling a bit guilty for not having played it yet despite loving the first two games in the series. Happy anni! :)
