  So i'm finally writing another blog, this one right now, as we speak!!!

  I've been gone for some time in the blog world, but i've been busy. I had an exciting summer at gotham sound and communication a rental house for pro audio equipment in the city. My time there was well spent as an intern learning about new mixers , recorders, wireless, so on and so fourth, I am taking this knowledge to the big bad world again and am A) going to start a machinama B) Start doing on set sound again for film and t.v. so if you need a sound guy for anything you know where to find me.

  
  0n another topic, i've finally some odd over 300 movies in my dvd collecton i believe it was solidified with the purchase of heroes season one, i've also been on a reading spree with the amazing adventures of Kavalier and Clay and when you are engulfed in flames, both which are stellar books and ones that i would suggest with high regard, but thats about it for now, hope you have enjoyed reading the new blog, i'll probably start posting movie reviews soon so look out for them!

  Certain animated movies and why you should see them

  In the realm of the film making world it is bad to shun even movie have it be bad, good, or just plain right wtf just happened?!?!?

  Lately i've been turning to japanese cinema as a whole, wether it be horror, aciton, noir, or thriller, i've found myself found to anime the most.

  Now the number one movie on my list of animated films to see is Paprika, it just raises the bar for animation and like some reviewers have said it american animators are really still stuck in the kiddy sandbox. It I feel is a visual master piece and the story great, it's such an amazing thing to watch, and if you own a blu-ray player and don't mind dishin out the 30 bones for it buy it.

  Akira, and Princess Mononoke are two other great anime's people should watch just because there so groundbreaking in what they do especially akira. I mean i know this all seems bland but im just throwin it out there that these movies need to be watched because there such landmarks not in anime but in movies in general
