    13. Grand Theft Auto IV
    14. Lost Odyssey

    1. Two Worlds
    2. Marvel Ultimate Alliance
    3. Phantasy Star Universe
    4. LOST: Via Domus
    5. Just Cause

    Disappointing

Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise / Tales of Vesperia / Game Thinking...

    So I bought...

So far the game is amazing...well as amazing as a 1.5 version of a game can be. Essentially, everything added in Trouble in Paradise should have and could have been put in the original game to make the original one of the greatest games I've ever played. But they didn't so I had to shell up another 40 bucks. So far in the game all I've really done is make a garden and play coop with my friend but its so fulfilling and the game is so fun. My only worry is that like the last game...they won't allow me to put as much stuff as I want in it. I really want to make my garden kick ass but if they don't allow you to put as much things as you want then I wont be able to make it as kick ass as I want to. Anyways here's my garden when I last took a photo of it...

    Tales of Vesperia

So I'm still moving along in Tales of Vesperia. My only complaints thus far are the typical JRPG cliches which are always annoying. The cliches in Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata made the games a bit less appealing. But besides that my only other complaint is the game is still a little to hard. Incase any of you are playing the game and want to know how far Im at. I'm just about to fight Schwamm. The game provides some nice and unexpected twists and I cant wait to beat the game.

Both of the above games are so good (so far - i havent put enough into both games to give it a solid rating but Gamespot was right on the money in my opinion. Probably an 8.5 to Viva because its just too smiliar to the original game (which I would give a 9 - which Gspot didnt so this one should of got a 9) and Tales around an 8.8ish but thats going to depend on the story.

    Thinking...

So with September just beginning...games are comin out right left and center. I got Tales and Viva Pinata. I had to pass on Too Human (for now) and I'm contemplating picking up Infinite Undiscovery, Viva Pinata: Pocket Pardise, and Sonic Chronicles in September alone. I probably won't get NHL 09 now because even after these games October and November look like they are going to kill my wallet

What I've been up to... / Tales of Vesperia / Bully / Too Human

Besides my last blog (which I wrote yesterday), I haven't posted here in like 3 weeks so heres what I've been up to.

I was getting really bored gaming wise after I had beaten Lost Odyssey and done all the sidequests except for that damn Professor K which I'll go back to eventually so I went back to Guitar Hero.

    Guitar Hero

    - Alright so now I am officially an expert. I've basically beaten the game on hard (yes that includes Raining Blood). The only thing I can't do is the boss battle with Lou which is just a pain in the ass. On expert I've gotten to the third last set of songs and its not even too hard. So now I can actually show off my skills because I'm pretty good.

So after my Guitar Hero phase I got really bored again and decided to make an impulsive buy - Bully - which was only $29.99.

Now to get me through me boredom I had planned to buy....

    Too Human

-Silicon Knights is one of my favourite developers and I will eventually buy Too Human. Its just a matter of when. The reviews turned me off from buying it day one and the fact that I wanted to get Tales of Vesperia and I want to get Infinite Undiscovery, Viva Pinata, and NHL 09 within the next 3 weeks. So I decided I'd wait.

    Bully: Scholarship Edition

    - Check out my review for my thoughts on the game. Overall, it was a pretty good game and the achievements were fun to do. I got all 1000 points so I'm happy. I haven't added it to my collection yet because I bought the game used and it had a ton of scratches so I want to bring it back to see if I can get another one or store credit. After that I'll add it to my always growing collection.

    Tales of Vesperia

    - As you may know by now....I suck at RPGs. The only RPG's I had beaten before this generation of gaming were Golden Sun, Skies of Arcadia, and the Kingdom Heart games. All were amazing. So I made a promise to myself that I would play all the RPGs on the 360. Enchanted Arms was fun but pretty bad but not that hard. Blue Dragon was really easy and there wasnt too many customizations which always confuses me. Eternal Sonata was also another very easy game with little confusing RPG elements. Then comes Lost Odyssey which is by far the hardest out of the above games. It took my awhile but I got very use to LO and in the end I wrecked the game. Tales of Vesperia on the other hand is another story.....

Tales is a beautiful game with an interesting story but its very challenging. I had to switch the game to the easy setting for the demo boss because I couldn't beat it. Everytime I think I'm getting better I just get wrecked so....I'm having some trouble with the game. Theres also so much things to do which makes it tough. Hopefully I'll catch on but the game is really good and I'm about 6 hours in.
