Yes, they called a 9 year old an inappropriate word (Very mature, right?). Anyways, I didn't pay attention to The Oscars at all this year, there wasn't even much hype for it.

Okay I was at school so um.....what happened?
Apparently something happened....somthing to do with a young girl? Did someone do something to her? Did she do anything? Why did The Onion call her an extremely inappropriate word?

I didn't watch the Oscars because I didn't really think any of the movies nominated for the best picture were great.
some of them were good but not really fantastic, memorable Oscar winning material if you know what I mean, jelly bean.:P
2 Like I didn't watch it either but the girl you're talking is Jennifer Lawrence,she fell down the stairs while getting her oscar but she was really funny about it and kept telling jokes :)
1 Like Her name is Quvenzhané Wallis and she was nominated for best actress at age 9. I saw the movie she was in, Beasts of the Southern Wild. I don't know how much I liked the movie but she was good in it. I'm not totally sure what happened other than The Onion was trying to make a joke but went overboard.
