  Oh well

  Today consisted of mostly playing Mega Man 9 and attempting to get a Little Big Planet demo. I got further in MM, but I absolutely failed trying to get a code.

  I'd go on and rant about how unfair it is, you know, with these closed betas and crap, but what's the point? In two weeks it's going to be irrelevant anyway. Nonetheless, it is disheartening all of this work was done for nothing, but on the other hand...there's still a few oppertunities out there.

  MM9 Update: Beat the last two men, then attempted Wily's Castle. First level isn't that annoying except for the boss. Second I get stuck at thanks to Hornet Man's miniboss and the water spikes after it. More than likely I'll get further tommorow, but it's a ****

  Surprise, surprise

  A new DS is on the way! To be honest, it looks neat and I'll probally get it. I've had an original DS from the get go and I like my brothers, but I never hear the end of it how I'm playing his system even though he hasn't touched a DS in two month. Irregardless, it looks neat, has some interesting new features and it should be a neat experience playing one.I wonder though what content you'll buy from the DS's store. Willl the DS have its own Virtual Console? It would make sense, since GBA games can't be played on the system. And the GBA's library is pretty immense so it should hold well.

  As for the new games, Punch Out looks pretty cool, and that looks to be a candidate for a purchase, which would put my "Wii Game Purchases for 2009" list to a staggering one.Mario and Luigi, along with the new Wario Ware title should be fun.

  MM9 Update: Tornado Man and Hornet Man are left on the list, and both have unforgiving stages, especially the former. I think I can beat both tommorow, however. I hear you can't save in Wily's Castle....and that makes me shiver in fear.

  Right..

  I might not approve of Gamespot's recent actions, but what can I say. They are the only ones who have a blog-like thing like this that I actually, uh...like.

  Anyway, playing Mega Man 9. It's fustrating as hell, but once you beat a stage you feel like you've accomplished something. I guess that's what every game should be like, right? Still doesn't change the fact that I reallyhate Jewel Man's stage. Today I've done nothing but try to beat that man's level. I got through the miniboss (not so tough once you get the formula down) and the spikes aren't really an issue (though I've died a few times on the first jump). Jewel Man himself though is a mystery to me. I've tried doing what this video does, only to horribly fail each time I try to take him on. It'll probally take me the rest of the day, but I guess I'll figure something out...or just move on to the other four bosses I haven't dared tackle yet.

  Nintendo's supposed to have some confrence tonight. I don't really have my hopes up, because after their E3 showing I pretty much lost all confidence in them. But I'll keep an ear out and hopefully they'll show something that'll rectify the situation their in with the core gamers. I guess we'll just wait and see.
