Interests?
As I come to the end of another year of my perpetual bachelorhood, I wonder if there will ever be an end to it or whether I've really set the pattern of the decades to come.
The problem is that I need something that I can offer, something that would make me worth someone's time. Looks are most definitely out, as are brains (the one thing I learned at university backed up by 10 years working in the private sector is just how limited my intellect is). Charm is a no-no. What about shared interests? Some common ground? More difficulties there. The only interest I have ever had is the one this website is dedicated to. How does one go about getting more? Where do you even start looking?
Self-pitying mush to be sure, but this is why we have blogs. The alternative is talking to someone about it and no-one wants that.
