  We traded in a few games and a couple of DVD's...

  And got Rock Band 2 and NHL '09 in return! Wow there are so many new games coming out the next few months we have interest in. I'm sure once the finished products are out quite a few will drop out of the running of chance of getting bought by us.
  
  Rock Band 2 is well?.... nearly what Rock Band was. With improvements that people were wanting for the first game now appearing in the second game. One of which was being promised in a patch for game one. I once heard that Rock Band was not going to come out with a new base game for awhile, instead just letting the game grow through DLC. Ha ha! Not with so many small things being wanted by the RB community. Mainly people wanting online world tour (why the heck was this not put in the first game???) Anyway our main reason for getting RB 2 was for the small improvements, we aren't real thrilled with the playlist though. WAYYYY too many metal songs in the two hardest categories. In fact most of them are metal songs in the last set. Oh well at least we can have DLC and the original songs in the new game. Still trying to find out when/how we can get the original game songs into RB 2, our DLC is already in the hopper.
  
  NHL '09, what can I say we are suckers for hockey. We bought NHL '09 even though we hardly touched '08 after we got it, due to the terrible time of actually scoring a goal. This version does seem to be better so far. And the Be a Pro feature is pretty fun so far too. If you leave out the part of difficult to score the game is great. The graphics and overall gameplay is very good, a great improvement since we had become so skeptical of most sports games 5-6 years ago.
  I'll have to play it quite a bit more for a final judgement though. I'm still getting used to the new style of controls for the game.

  Mass Effect complete!

  At last I got ME complete. The asari ally achievement finally completed right near the very end of the game and then I polished off Saren and got the insane level achievement to get my 1050/1050 on the game. I really enjoyed playing the game and can't wait for a sequel.
  
  Been having a lot of fun with Civ Revolution as well. I haven't played multi-player yet and kind of dread it because I figure it will be just like playing all the other games online...all the cheaters have found all the glitches, etc...I don't look for those and would probably get trounced. Nearly every game I play online has been like this. Even Halo where they are supposed to "auto detecting cheaters" seems full of them. I don't even bother playing sports games online anymore and we really don't buy them anymore because they don't seem to be improving sports games at all the last 5 years, they've only gotten worse. And the developers seem to add in online multi-player as an afterthought, making them full of problems and a haven for cheaters.
  
  Even poker isn't much fun. I mean I play for real, like it's my real money etc. Others don't they go all in from the first hand in etc, etc, you can't get a good read on anything when people do that. When I've played online the game usually has 4-8 people and usually there is only 2 or 3 players left by the 6th or 7th hand. BORING.... At least I can play vs the AI which most of the time unfortunately is more fun than live competition. Pathetic.

  Just waiting for some new games...

  Well I've been at mass effect for about 3 months now, and I'm getting down to the last few achievements to complete. I'm a little worried though. I have 2 ally achievements left, the turian and the asari, I'm worried because I played a whole game with the asari except of course the first mission and a little bit at the Citadel. Yet when I finished the game nothing. So when I started my third play through as an adept to get the adept usage achievements I didn't complete any of the missions at the citadel except what I had to do to be able to leave to go get the asari. Hopefully soon I will get the achievement. Once I get those two I only have the level 60 achievement and the game on insane achievement left. I'm already started on getting both. I'm using my first character who is at level 59 now and I've started the game on the insane level for that character. I will be leaving that game though until I finish the adept game and hopefully getting the 2 ally achievements. Right now we are gettting ready to get the Guitar Hero: Aerosmith game as well as next week Civ Revolution. Can't wait to get going on them. We have a couple of games to trade in to help get Civ Rev as well. If anyone wants to play some civ rev with me send me a FR on the 360. Gamertag is : TheCloser17
