So, it's been a while! I've been up to a lot, there's personal stuff I won't get into, but as for hobby-related things...

Anime

I watched Squid Girl! It's tentacular! I've shown it to several friends who all approve of the show. Squid Girl is about, well, a half-squid half-girl hybrid that lives in the sea, whom goes to the surface to invade humanity! However, she seems to have no idea how she's going to do it, and is hopelessly lost. ^^; So after shenanigans, she spends her new surface life with the friends she gradually makes over the course of the series. Watched the dub of season 1 (which was great), so I'll be waiting for the dub of season 2.

Also watched OreImo! It's also known as "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute!". It's about a girl named Kirino who has a secret obsession with visual novel games, but not just any! She loves the kind with 'little sister love'. Not kidding. These eroge she enjoys so much, as well as the magical girl anime she loves, she has to hide from her family, who are an ordinary working-class family rather than the eccentric, nerdy families shown in some slice-of-life anime. Her brother finds out but helps her open up about her interests. It's a great show and I'm looking forward to season 2!

And as per usual, I've been watching random duels in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's (in Japanese, not the trashy English version ^^; ). It's excellent, and the duels are pretty exciting and over the top. I also like the music that is used in the show.

Video Games

Hoo, boy. Where to begin...

Pokemon Black Version 2 - Currently working on post-game. Already have captured all the legendary Pokemon, and I'm just now working on filling up the Unova Dex so I can go see the special unlockable area to catch a Shiny Haxorus. I have a team of Crobat, Gigalith, Magnezone, Garchomp, Sigilyph, and Samurott, all in the mid-to-upper 80s. I have yet to complete Black Tower and will likely save that for after I've finished breeding and raising some good Pokemon in Pokemon Black Version (1).

Pokemon LeafGreen Version - I restarted a while back, and I'm on my way to Celadon. I've got a team of Vulpix, Pidgeotto, Weepinbell, Raichu, and Wartortle. Possibly going to add the Eevee for something, possibly not, haven't decided. Working on catching everything I can find to build up a good stock of Pokemon to transfer over to Gen IV and beyond later.

Mighty Switch Force! - Downloaded recently off the eShop for 3DS. How I missed this gem, I don't know. Great game! I love the energetic music, and the platforming and puzzle elements are pretty unique and very intuitive. You play as a cop who has to recapture criminals. It's actually a tricky yet highly satisfying game. I recommend it for people looking for a quick pick-me-up game while waiting for the next big buy-it game for their 3DS~! I'd like you guys to take a look at this link, because the music really makes this game.

Super Mario 3D Land - Went back to this after months of taking a break from it. I'm gathering Star Coins to progress in the Special Worlds. I'm in Special 3. I like swapping between Luigi and Mario, but usually I just stick to Mario, idk *shrug*.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - Also went back to this after a while. I'm in the Water Temple, beat Dark Link. It's kinda taking a little getting back into the game, but I'm back in the swing of it and hopefully I'll complete it soon. I hope I can take on Bongo Bongo, he was the last boss I needed to beat before going to Ganon's Castle in the original. ><

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies - Also got back into this recently. I'm grinding outside of Porth Llaffan, as I got a new character added. I'll be working on the story again at some point, but I'm trying to get the team up I have first, which 2 of those members are in the low-teens for level.

And a couple other random titles, but those are the big ones! Anyway, that about covers it. Next blog will be getting back to the Pokemon countdowns, with my top Legendary Pokemon. See ya next time~
