  The newcomers have no idea...

  Some things are just cheesy, like if you ask a person not too familiar with games if they have a particular game, you'll always hear a response of "What's that?" or "I've never heard of it.", simply because some people are totally clueless.

  Same goes for the more popular games, like System Shock 2 or Guitar Hero. If you have never heard the two responses above, then you're the newcomer.

  Unrealistic Reality - October '09 - 'Tweet'ledee and 'Tweet'ledum

  Ok. I use Twitter. Some of you may also have a Twitter account. Some of you may be using it as you read it on your mobile phone. Anyway, you'll be using Twitter. Now, there are plenty of social networking sites to choose from. You could be on Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Bebo, MySpace and others. But we don't always know what to write on the sites. I saw this episode of the Gadget Show where Jason Bradbury and Suzi Perry had to design iPhone apps. Jason opted for a social networking app that can send a message to any of your sites without you writing the messages. You tell it how you feel, what you're doing and where you are, it then makes it into a sentence and you simply post it onto Facebook, Twitter, Bebo and so on. I suppose that will close my post for this month. See you next month.

  Unrealistic Reality - September '09 - I don't get it!

  Often, there are people that use mobile phones more than their computers. Mind you, there are other things that can replace a computer. Namely, the laptop. It's a portable, powerful and hot piece of equipment. The thing is that laptops have tendencies to either be able to boil water or turn off on its own because of the battery. Some batteries last around eight hours. Some only two hours. Mine falls into that category, sadly. Still, it works and that is all we need. I use Windows 7 with it, but it's the Release Candidate. I need to buy it soon. Otherwise, my laptop is unusable. Just it's too expensive an operating system to buy. I need to save up badly.
