  New Tattoo and Nickelback's European Tour

  Hey people. If you read one of my earlier Blogs, you may know that I was to see Nickelback last week. Well, I did. I saw them on Sunday evening at Wembley Arena, NW London. It was the biggest and best gig I have been to so far, and possibly will be for a long time... Unless Kurt Cobain rose from the dead to do a one-off tour *daydreams*. Nickelback know how to throw a concert! Pyrotechnics, jokes, kick ass drum solo by Daniel Adair, t-shirt cannons, free beer and Staind were the support act... What more can you ask for?

  Also I got a new tattoo Last week I made the snap decision to get a tattoo that I have wanted for some time, and I was originally going to get it done with a friend when he was getting his, but he still didn't know what he wanted, so I went with another friend and my brother, and we all got one I got the Nirvana Smiley Face tatttoo'd onto my left arm, my friend got three out-lined stars on his right arm and my brother got the Nirvana Smiley Face tattoo'd on to his left wrist (as he already has the RHCP Aterisk on his right wrist).

  Can I get your hand to write on, Just a piece of lead to bite on...

  This week has been a very good week so far. It all started on saturday when I went to my friends house in Oxford. He is moving in today (becuase he starts university again next week) but he has had it for about a week. Five of us went there for a laugh and a lads night out followed by a lads night in, watching comedy, drinking, laughing and playing practical jokes on eachother. One joke included putting one of our mate's toothbrushes and putting it into a condom full of water and sticking it in the freezer. It was hilarious when he saw it in the morning. It was like a giant white poo

  Another practical joke we played, this one is my favourite, involved near nudity. Basically four of us stripped down into our boxers and socks and ran into our other mates room and started dancing in his face. His reacton was classic, and if only we had caught it on camera. We aonly did it him because he was in his room and his was the only room without a lock, so we thought "Why not?"

  On monday I had plans made for tuesday, and it turned out the plans could not be carried out, so I phoned another of my mates and it turned out he was going to Alton Towers on tuesday with his girlfriend and two other mates, so I went with them. The only thing is that we were going to travel to Nottingham and stop over night. When we got there we went to TGI's for a meal and took some booze back to our hotel and played a few drinking games. It was quite good actually, and I spent most of the night talking politics with one of my mates.

  When we woke after only 4 hours sleep, we left almost immediatley for Alton Towers. It was a really good day. We went on all the biggest rides and on two or three smaller ones including Hex, which was pretty decent, better than I expected. The drive home started off really quiet because we were all really tired. After a quick stop for a Red Bull or eight, we all perked up and started chatting and laughing again.

  My mate dropped us all off individually at out homes when we got back in to London, and when I walked in the front door I was greeted by my mum, my dad and my cat, and eventually my brother came down stairs holding a new kitten. I was over the moon when I saw him because I've always wanted another cat, I love them so much.

  Tomorrow (friday 19th) I will be going to the studio again for another session with the band so we will be rocking out uber hard and hopefully we will be getting some singles down, even if they are covers, on CD for all to hear

  As if this week can't get any better, I am seeing Nickelback LIVE with my brother in Wembley Arena on sunday. Man it is gonna be immense, I really can't wait!!

  And to top off the perfect week/10 days, I will be getting my first tattoo on monday

  All Hope is Gone

  Right guys, here's the deal: There are two reasons for the name of this blog.

  One is the Large Hadron Collider. I'm not really bothered about that, I'm all for it.

  The second is becuase it is the title of Slipknot's new album. I used to be a massive Slipknot fan about seven years ago and one day stopped listening to them. I bought their new album and to be honest I was more shocked than anything. There are a lot of very heavy songs on there which Slipknot are very well known for and there are a few very melodic songs to it, which I think make a very good addition to this very good, hyper album.
