  How LOTR Conquest could have been a great game...

  When I heard of LOTR Conquest, I was so excited. I thought, this is gonna be just like Star Wars Battlefront but then in LOTR style. But I was wrong. But that is one of the many things it should have been. They should have used the same idea as Star Wars Battlefront. You know? Used it as a template or something.

  Now more things that could have made it better:

  They shouldnt have added special moves for the normal classes. Like with the flaming sword and everything. That just takes the realness away. You can add that for heroes because they are all special and all, but even for heroes i wouldnt have done that. They can just have cooler and more powerfull moves. I just think that even though its a game, they should always try to make it as real as possible. Stick to the original idea. Normal warriors in LOTR dont have flaming swords.

  Some of the heroes are really dumb. Like whats up with Gimli. First of all he walks way to fast and he always has this dumbheadbutt move. And they suck the coolness out of certain heroes, like Legolas. Now he just sucks. He should be able to use his knives like in The Return of the King game. I would have stuck to their moves fot this game. Or somethinglike those kinda moves. They were awesome moves.

  They should have added more armies aswell. Like what happened to the dwarves and the goblins? And maybe even Angmar. Think Battle for Middle-Earth! That also goes for the classes. They could have added phalanxes and some sort of special class like Beserkers. And why cant you move up to higher classes as you go. Like to Captain. You do see Captains, so why cant you be them? They should also let you be Fellbeasts and Eagles. That would be so cool.

  The campagnes are also a bit short.

  These were some ideas that could have made it better. Now theres also a technical side.

  The graphics of this game were also on the lesser side.

  It is also a bit button-mashy.

  I just dont understand why they dont use other LOTR games as an example. Like using classes and armies from Battle for Middle Earth and moves from The Return of the King. And of course you get the feeling that they didnt spend much time and thoughtinto this. I mean that they rushed it, you know? They just wanted to get it over with. All of what theyve done kinda sucks the awesomenessout of the LOTR. This game just had a great potential to become a masterpiece. Its a shame that theyhavent done the thing that Ive stated. Butthey can always go round for a second time and this time use these ideas. Make it what it should be. A great game.
