All About DeadZone21

  • 22Feb 08

    Well, well, well.

It seems I have met my match; Sins Of a Solar Empire is incredibly hard. The AI is pretty damn crafty. I haven't played a game this hard since Devil May Cry 3, on Heaven or Hell difficulty; I definately was sent to hell often. Its not only very difficult because of the well designed AI, but because it takes so long do progress in research and all that if you choose the wrong strategy, it is devistating to recover, (very, very time consuming!)

SoaSE has a lot of good content, but the multiplayer is butchered by the players themselves. Its extremely difficult to finish a game, and games can literally last days, or even longer. Of course you can save your online games, but it will take a group of loyal and dedicated people to regroup to finish it off!

Anyway, if your a hardcore, RTS-ish, crazy bastard, then you will definately like this game...but remember, ITS VERY TIME CONSUMING, WHICH CAN REALLY BRING DOWN THE QUALITY OF THE GAME SOMETIMES!!! ...

    May 20th

Well, AoC:HA is set for May 20th for launch. I beleive it will be a positive thing; just more time for the Developers to tweak it more. Hopefully they won't tweak it for another five month launch setback.

Anyway, the game seems to be making steady progress, and I'm sure it will be worth the wait, money, and time to play it!

    I can't wait for September

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures will hopefully brake down the door of boring MMORPG's. Honestly, World Of Warcraft (which I played for a long time) just wasn't enough. Once I reached 70 with my Rogue, I felt unaccomplished. It felt meaningless, and PvP, was just not what it used to be. I don't know, but I just didn't get satisfaction from PvPing in all forms. Maybe I snapped out of the trance I was in when I first started playing, and realized Blizzard didn't change the game much. I think Blizzard forgot the meaning of "small things make a difference in a bigger picture". Well, I have a fun experience with World Of Warcraft. Also I would like to mention the exhilarating feeling I would get playing Final Fantasy XI, I honestly think Square Enix knows how to hypnotize people. That game sucked a lot of my time away, and the same thing happened with FFXI with WoW. It just never changed, or maybe I changed, or do I possibly want to big of changes in MMORPG's? I guess you can't expect much from people making a good amount of money to change (or upgrade I would like to call it) their game whilst its making them money as it is. Who wants to upgrade that? I would, I guess I'm alone on that?

    END OF LINE~

    P.S
