wow, modded again, golly gee!!
well what do you know, modded again.
apparently flaming in system wars will get you not only reported, but vitually "yelled" at, in other words, modded.
so lets see if we can deduce together the topics in system wars. here's a general example of the threads located there within:
PS3 is better than 360
Why is 360 the best system EVER!!!
I hate fanboys
etc. etc....
so if im modded for basically saying nothing worse than anyone else, BY FAR, does that mean everyone else participating in system wars is getting modded? im going to say probably not.
there is a saying that goes, if you cant handle the heat, get out of the kitchen. im going to give this advice to anyone that cant handle getting a negative response towards them so then they report it. my response to you then is, grow up. dont go into system wars preaching your one sided, fact lacking reasons for whatever and expect not to get flamed. excuse me, the correct phrase in this situation is, "clearly insulting another user". you know what, im sorry, here are some tissues and a cookie, feel better?
lame gamespot. modding changes like the wind, just get rid of the ToS.

System Wars, whats the point?
I have to say that if Gamespot wanted to save bandwidth, they should close System Wars. I've never read so many mindless threads about things things that keep being brought up over and over and over and over again.
My first question is how many people like to read the same news article everyday? What do you get if you read the same news article everyday? The same information/opinions that you read the day before. My ultimate opinion on System Wars is that it's a place to post if you have nothing else to do and want to show off your debating skills or lack there of. I then commend all of the master debaters* here.
It's not even a war either. Usually in a war one side has atleast a somewhat distinguishable advantage over the other. A war isn't won or lost based on opinions, its based on fact, whether you have lost or won.
Is this a rant, yes. Am I concerned enough to make a suggestion, no. I feel less of a person after I have contributed to posts like, "Since (X) is better than (Y)..", or "System (X) will dominate the market". You go into threads like this then and the reason is, "because". Maybe not verbatim but it might as well be as it's all heavily opinionated garbage with little fact found anywhere.
So where do I stand when trying to decide which system is better or which racing game is the best? I stand from a vantage point of " I don't care as long as it's fun ". The view is beautiful from here with a slight breeze. So before you make yourself look like a smaller horse-like mammal, think before you speak. People want to hear something with purpose, atleast I do.
and by the way, 360 is the best because**.
* great joke
** even greater joke

I have zero faith in the Constitution
Of course this is not completely true. Without it many of us would be in hot water for certain and never see the light of day again. However, one thing I am certain on is that our right to freedom of speech and the freedom to speak it sometimes dont match up.
Am I bitter? Perhaps. Do I have a right to be? Perhaps.
What is the purpose of having this right if I am unable to fully use its power in a public medium such as this? How can I successfully use my voice to make an impact whether its liked by all or liked by just one? I can't unless it follows the guidelines of what is right in the eyes of someone greater. By greater I am not referring to a religous entity either.
As we are beings with minds that can be used to question our existence and issues affecting our existence, why can't we question or confront the issues that affect us openly through a public medium or place?
Whether it be a multi-million person protest or a simple few sentences locked into the cyberspace for all of the modern world to see potentially, it will be addressed by someone somewhere. The author will undoubtedly face repercussions for their comments or thoughts which deem their feelings unjust or radical to another.
I also however understand that I have a choice to post comments or speak my mind. I found though that the places alotted for this are usually bypassed because society doesn't want to realize it's problems. I don't feel bad for calling people out that blatantly offend others or make others feel intimidated or bullied or simply disliked. What kind of place lets these things slide and can be called fair.
In the grand scheme of things to come...be prepared as I hope that someday people will start wake up and make a difference that doesn't better just themselves, but everyone. Your voice is the only tool that can be used for this
