  Gaming updates

  Well... I got and beat Super Paper mario an it was fun, but not as great as I thought it would be.  Here's my review of it.

   I just finished the main missions in The Godfather, and I'm on my way to becoming Don of New York.  When I do that, I'll write a review on this very fun that is very deserving of $50...

  I caught Pokemon fever (and got ridiculed by my girlfriend because of it) and I bought FireRed.  Why this and not Diamond/Pearl?  Because Red was the version that I got 10 years ago and I want to replay it... then I'll go for the DS versions.

   I know this isn't a great blog post or anything... but there's really not much going on right now.  It's 2 weeks before I go to Chicago to see my boys (and probably buy Spiderman 3 stuff for Christian and Blue stuff for Jr)/  It's 4 weeks til I go to Las Vegas with my sweetheart.  That's pretty much it.

  Of course if work starts getting to me I'll be ready with nice long rant about how much it sucks to have a laptop and a beeper and to work late.  Also, the opposite could happen and I could go off on a rant about how proud I am of my girlfriend to have gotten a promotion where she works and that she's graduating soon and that she moved and got the new place looking very good very quickly ....or I could just do nothing because I'm catching up on all the sleep I've been missing.  Now that's a nice thought actually...

  I really don't like errors when I'm blogging

  I finished typing up a nice long well thought out blog about what's been goingon in my life only to get an error when I click on Submit and no way to go back and display what I types so I could at least copy it.  Grrr......

  Long story short... life is nice and mundane and I hope it stays that way.  My boys are happy and I'll be seeing them the first weekend in May so we can watch Spiderman 3.  Work sucks... but what job doesn't.  The best thing going on is my girlfriend got a promotion.  She's now an analyst and making more than me.  I asked her if this means she can be my Sugar Mama, but she said no... I had to ask you know...   She's also moving to a small place, but it's all good because between the savings from the place plus her promotion plus when I move there... we'll be on our way to get a place of our own that we own (bit that's an entry for another day)

  Game-wise for my Wii... I got The Godfather recently and it's tremendous.  The controls easily make the game 10x better than any other sandbox-type game.  I can't wait to try Scarface when it comes out.  I also got Super Paper Mario and it's so easy to get a cheesy grin playing that game.

  That's pretty much it for now... I have a little bit more Mario to play til I need to go to bed.

  PS.... I u/l'd a video of me and girlfriend watching the Bellagio water show if anyone wants to see a nice show and a very romantic setting almost ruined by a Celine Dion song...

  FYE Sale

  I love sales... especially when I know the sale is ridiculous.  Today's sale was me getting Baten Kaitos Origins (a game that is cuirrently $39.99 at many fine establishments) for $9.99 at FYE.  That is a beautiful thing.  On top of that, next to the register was a big Funimation display saying 2 for $12... so I got Case closed vol 1 & 2.  They're supposed to be more than $6 each, but that's what I got them for.

  So like I said... I love sales... now if only I could find a sale to get my girlfriend a pair of real hot heels for less than $60...
