    Oh no...it's DYING I SAY!!!

Ahhh....my beloved friend and cause of mayor pain (i broke my ankle and blew the internal ligaments of my left ankle to smitherins, and now bare not only a scar but i have a great deal of screws and metal plate in my ankle...thanks to my Ps3...TRUE STORY...and someday i will write it here or someplace), is now fading away from me!!!!

So, by reading, youtubing, and researching the web, i found out the fat 80gb Ps3 versions have all the same issue...Yellow Light of Death and other disturbing/annoying problems. Mine has one very in particular...after a friend of mine fixed the YLD issue...which i thought was the problem in the first place, i found out that the glue or protective cover that the sony manufacturer used, were basically a $1.00 gel....he took a picture and when i saw it....that thing looked like grade school glue they used. That was like..."WHAT??" i paid $400.00 at that time and you put this together with $1.00 glue???? and the principle of the whole thing is not how much i paid...is the fact that i and a bunch of others (millions probably) paid for something, that by sony standards, could have been easily put together using duct tape. I mean if they used kindergarden glue to put this high end device, if they were able to get away with using duct tape, they would.

And this brings my question...how much of this shark-like bullying behavior can i take? obviously this guys were on a hurry to get this ps3 out there, so in a way i kinda understand them...but can i dig the fact that i have been a victim to this type of product selling shannanigans....and the answer is i dunno.

When i saw the pic of the interior of my ps3...i got angry....but it lasted 15 to 27 seconds. No kidding. Then i was like, "damn the things they do and the things we are willing to put with". Later i thought "who the f'ck do they think they are?? heck i need a new one". And finished with "no way am not taking this....crap, but i really want to play".

I ran this by a couple of my friends and their slap was..."dude, you have used that fat motha for 4 years...what the hell did you expect?".....and that's the problem today. We pay and whatever price we pay, we don't expect things to last....we use them and in less than a spiff, we either break em, sell em or simply dump em! why?? it's a lot of effort and money you put into your gaming system...why expect less or why not expect more?

I really don't know anything about anything anymore, but one thing is certain am going get me a new one (a freaking idtiot, but damn i love videogames) and after i get my new one, i will sell the damaged one...cuz funny thing is,...IT WORKS! it turns on and off at least like 2 or 3 times, and after that it starts running again smoothly. The fan makes a lot of noise in the beginning, it shuts down and after the 3 time, am in business.

Cold Hard Fact....i turned on my GAMECUBE, after being on 1 to 4 different closets around the house...full of dust and banged all over the place....and guess what, it WORKS! Nintendo does pretty good solid systems alright....my gamecube has aproximately 7 to 8 years with me....and still going. Now THAT is what am used to and THAT is what i expect for all my hard earned cash! 8 freakin years!!

Ahhh, if only nintendo would make a "adult" console....we would not have to worry about Yellow or Rings of death!

    the Aftermath........

Ok, so the psn was down due to hacker attack (or not?), and now it's back up. The store is ready to be opened again, but hey watch out sony...so many dudes just waiting to get a chance on the free download content, it's going to be a bomb! oh, guess what...no not today!! Nice move...really nice move.

First off, hacker or no hacker, strong security or no security at all, creditcards and personal info compromised or not, it's apparent that in the end, no one cares until the psn is up. Yes, now, the people won't be putting down their info that easily, BUT psn cards will be sold like hotdogs on a baseball game.

Now, you don't trust sony at all, but did they make any effort to bring down the fire they were dealt with from all sides (media, consumers, ex-employees) or did they ever had to go out there and splash water on those incendiary comments? Up to this point, they didn't do it, they won't do it and they will never do it. Remember the issue a year ago with the 80gb PS3, going crazy when you tried to get into the PSN network? did they EVER gave a detailed, proper and significant information on why this occurred? no. They gave you the template corporate licensed answer they like to give, but no they didn't actually gave a real answer.

The question is...do you care? I for one, am an old-school gamer. A single player gamer...from a country that doesn't trust nothing that comes from the web, internet or anything that has to do with online service (we love to see the face of the person we are paying, that way if something goes wrong, we know who to blame or direct our anger). Therefore, YES I CARE! i want a straight answer for God sake's. Why is it so difficult. I payed $400+ on my system back in the day, so I deserve to know, what actually happend. I will download demos, and OF COURSE I will download one of the free games and I will purchase a PSN Card to buy whatever i need to buy...but after the Psn plus free deal is done...it's done. I never bought a psn card, and have never used it. I download certain demos, not all...

I will game and i will download and i will play...but i feel reluctant at the same time. What will happen next...if i go in and download stuff, will it bring a virus that will damage for good my PS3? i don't know...you might say that cannot happen...but from what has happend...i can happen. Sony has not given any surelock or valid explanation towards this situation...so, i can think of hundreds of issue that might bring up horrid scenarios for the psn and ps3...and then I can't, because i think PROBABLY they have thought of that...or have they?

For now....Free PSN PLUS and FREE downloadable Infamous seems nice. The only comforting thing they have said so far...but they said - today May 24th, 2011- the store would reopen...so far it's closed....so will it be Infamous as they say or Iron Man 2 the videogame???

    Long time...F'n time i wrote!

It's been a long while since I last made a blog here!...well, so after all this time, I have been playing games and reading news about new consoles and issues with the right pricing on games. Pricing on games seems like pretty good subject to rant about…

Currently games are beginning to be served to us on a silver diamond incrusted platter. Example Call of Duty. This game is a first-person shooter, that offers the same experience over and over again. Yes, it's very well done indeed, but then again, so what? . Am tired of the gun-ho army-seal-navy-super soldiver taking back and restoring the peace story, and am tired of all the first-person shooting. Who's responsible for this sadistic act of ongoing and unrelentless act of masochism? The consumer.

They put the product out there, you-we-them-us-i-together-whomever-everyone, buys this game. For the economic piledriver price of $60.00. They justify the price by adding the large online warzone. What if I don't have online service? What if I only care for single player gaming? What if the network is down?....yup you have been ripped, owned, forked, toasted, and robbed of your ever precious dollars.

I am a fervent single campaign player…I don't care much for online. I prefer to go to someone's house, with my controller, plug it and play with my friend (old school videogamer, yes I am). But ok, let me try the online stuff…I die in 10 to 57 seconds flat. I kill a couple of dudes, but no fun in that…it's just to fast to provide and actual feedback if you like it or not…so am done with COD online.

So if I pay $60.00 for a 4 hour campaign, with a devastating online warzone fighting, that I stand little to no chance on garnishing any love for the damn thing…am supposed to be happy? Crap, c'mon guys this is a rip-off!! What's even worse, they pull the exact same game, with the exact same formula, with the exact same everything and simply change the setting and boom! Here you go, the new COD Black Ops! Boom! Here you go the new COD Star Bombers! Boom! There you go, the new COD Galactic Warfare Crusade! Different wrapper, same formula, you eat and eat it all!!

You tell this to people and everyone gives you the evil eye look. But it's the truth! It's an in your face mugging! Thank the lord, am not a fan of this games and I have never bought one, so that's my two-cents on this "fight the videogame money sucking industry".

Am a fan of SPORTS games…which is even worse! Some games like Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 have really done the effort and made a new game (previous installments are a load of trash), and does deserve the $60.00 price tag (I bought last year and still playing it today, everyday) but games like FIFA 11, since they are currently a top of the soccer videogame kingdom, put a decent effort, which offers actually nothing necessarily new, changes that were basically expected for them to do, so it felt more like upgrades rather than a new game…and they uppercut everyone with the $60.00 haymaker! MADDEN is a monster problem on it's own, so am not going into that!

So all this ranting like a biatchh to me gets me nowhere without at least an actual theory or probable solution…and here it goes…I have written this before and I won't get tired of writing this until someone answers or gets attention…IF you make a game, which is OBVIOUSLY the same thing, only with some more guns on this side, a bigger battleground, new kits for teams, more endorsement for in game stuff, new upgrade on weapons, players…and so on, THEN charge like $25 to $30 for the damn UPGRADE! Because that's exactly what it is, an UPGRADE! IF you go ahead and break a whole new adventure with more in-depth fighting system, a bigger single campaign or short and thick single campaign (Example: Vanquish. This game kicks major arse, but short as hell), with a real smell of a NEW GAME…then and only then charge us the $60.00 please! Believe me, they know better than us when a videogame is totally taken apart and built up from it's ashes….so why not charges the full price when that happens??

This would really be the most gentleman and decent thing for the videogame developers and big name companies to do. I feel like paying $60.00 for Dead Space 2…longer and now has the online multiplayer, fair and nice. Pay them. L.A. NOIRE is coming for Rockstar, a game that looks like GTA (yes, it does no doubt, and I love it) but the game has something completely new for the series of Open Sandbox games, so yes, PAY THEM. MADDEN 12 is coming…………they have made all the gimmicks, like listen to the fans rants to better the game, made forums to have direct people opinion on how the game should be played and yata-yata-yata-yata…in the end, BOOM! You get the same vomit crapper….MADDEN is a game that until ANOTHER DEVELOPER gets the opportunity to get the NFL license, whomever buys this game, is a MASOCHIST. Simple as that…COD is coming with a new game…since the new crime nation seems to be Brazil…its going to be COD Brazil Jungle Strike!!...same lame dud! DON'T BUY THEM!! That way THEY WILL LISTEN!!

Am done with my price rant issue!! Hopefully I won't take another 3 years to write something else ajajaj! For those who read this and liked it, thank you kindly! for those who don't, cool…remember we all have different opinions, and we are all entitled to our own.

    See ya!
