  Back the from the dead!

  Well, not really. I only came for a visit Damn, it's been ages (3 months?), and the site looks entirely different.

  The reason I don't visit much is 'cause: I dropped French in school, I still thought if I knew a foreign language, my chances of getting University would statistically go up by 400%. Since my school destroyed my interest in French entirely (homework, memorizing vocab), I decided to take on the only language I was interested in at the time, you guessed it, Japanese.

  --It's not because of video games (though that can be one of the many reasons) and definitely not anime (yuck). But for fun :3 I don't have any textbooks or anything, I learn by watching movies (without subs), playing video games, and surfing the Japanese internet. And now I picked up a new hobby; doing stuff in Japanese xD It sounds a bit geeky... but I like it.

  I've been doing it for 4 months, turning 5 soon. Know ~300 kanji, and understand every 6th or 7th word I hear/read. I can't speak worth **** though, but that's okay, speaking is my lowest priority. I've been studying French for 8 years and never got this good, which ticks me off -_- Oh well, off to watch more 電車男　:3
