Year Of The Console
Since the inception of online gaming, starting with "X-Band." Console creators have been looking for ways to push online game playing to levels, exceeding their predecessors.
The future of gaming has reassured us that it is no where close to becoming bleak, as I have payed close attention to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). I am elated with news that Microsoft will be releasing an update this fall, that is not just aesthetically pleasing to the eye. In a sense...Xbox Live will be receiving a "Face-Lift," with the forth coming "Xbox Experience(XBX)." Taking the 2 Dimensional game space that we are use to seeing, and making it 3 Dimensional. The dashboard will now have mini-blades, accessible from anywhere in the game. The area where we are use to seeing the blades, will now be layered pictures called "Channels" that you will be able to transition between just as easy. The Xbox Experience will also be adding avitars to the dashboard, so instead of seeing your gamerpic, your friends will see a Mii-esque character modeled after you.
With the other soon to be instituted attributes, the new features are not to be dismissed. With "PrimeTime," and Netflix being just a couple of the new features being added. I personally feel Xbox has done an amazing thing here. Although, I do have a few questions...for the people with 20Gb hard drives that are almost full, will this new "Experience" be a hard lesson learned? By taking a longer time to load? As long as the issues are addressed-which I'm sure they will! XBX will be more than just a dream come true.
Exceptional job Microsoft!

What's The Issue!
Gaming...Games...Gamer....root word "Game"!
What is the problem with gamers these days not being able to play without cheating. Personally, I believe they do it because they can't perform any other way. They don't have the skills it takes to play a game, and enjoy it!
I remember playing NINTENDO and having a lot of fun. Now with everything being "Better," people don't want to take the time and actually dig into a game! How sad is it to buy something and not enjoy it or become involved with something that you don't get your full money's worth out of.
Gamers...unless you have beat the game, stay away from the cheats, other wise you are just wasting your money! Also, for all of those who cheat by MOD'ing or any other way, take it somewhere else. The "TRUE" gamers don't won't you interrupting their frag fest.
Until next time!
