My Bad

I got so busy, and my internet was going haywire, so no real time to do an update, but I did play some games, and I can tell you about that

Well first, I got a backlog, a short one compared to some people, like Al, Austin, or Ish. But I have to beat:

- Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, I am just about ready to go onto the last temple before going to go beat Gandolf. And I just stopped playing it. Really need to beat this.

-Eternal Sonata. I also just stopped playing this, but am only like 3/4 of the way done with this. I also really need to beat this.

-DiRT. Just about done with this. On the last tier/level, but will give more impressions a little later in this very long and overdue blog.

But those are the only games on the backlog for me. Yes, I complete my games unlike some of you people, *cough* Al *cough*.

Now about two hours ago, my gamerscore, reached a milestone. 10,000. Yes, all those painful moments of playing DiRT finally payed off and I got to 10,000 acheivment points. I am very happy now, seeing that I told myself that I will stop caring about them. I will probably stop caring about them, but will still go for them in a game. Meaning, no more renting bad games for acheivments, and no more getting competative with other people over them. I am so happy of this, biggest summer goal=complete.

Now back to DiRT. DiRT is a racing game made by Codemasters, the guys who also brought you GRID. The game is marketed as a offroad racing game, but it also has a good amount of street racing as well. The graphics are simply amazing. The dirt from the ground hits up from the tires of your automobile, the backrounds are beautiful, the cars are beautiful. This whole game is beautiful, but thats all it really is. The gameplay gets boring, and some of the tracks just repeat. Worth a rental though. Can't wait to be done with this game.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Have been playing this, again, mostly with Franky. The multiplayer is enjoyable, but that stupid sniper rifle acheivment is annoying. I have been using it mostly as a shotgun that a long range rifle, but can't wait to put this gun away! Can't wait for Denis's get together tommorow. If you want to play with us, just give me, or him a message of XBL, and you'll be enjoying the laughs.

Now I have a 130 dollars burning a hole in my pocket. So of course I am going to buy some games. Now I am definitly going to get Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit, which I have said is better than MGS4. Does MGS4 have guys with glowing yellow hair throwing eachother into walls? But I also am trying to decide between GH Aerosmith or BF Bad Company. I love the Battlefeild series on the PC, and this game looks great but I want a music game to play, and I really don't want to spend 180 dollars on Rock Band. Suggestions please in the comments, I really need some help becuase I can not decide.

Gearhead Out!

So its 9:30 at night, its summer vacation, why the hell am I not on the 360 you ask? Well for one good reason. I have to wake up at 3:30 in the morning, get on a plane, and fly to Colorado for a week

But for the last couple days, since the end of school, its been non stop gaming. And my gamerscore has increased over 1000 G's, and is so close to 10,000 that I can taste it.

-Crackdown. Played this game alot yesterday, and more today, and finally beat it after playing it for a couple days in March, and just sitting on my gaming shelf. I finally picked it up, and beat it. A very fun game, and some really fun gameplay elements. It took all the fun things that you did in GTA, increased it ten fold, and made a game around it. The story is non-existent, but I really don't care. I understand why this game was in your disk drives now all last year. Got a good 580Gs out of it.

-Call of Duty 2. Yes not four, but two. Been playing the single player on veteran, and got around 2/3 through it, and think I am done. I beat both the Russian, and English campaigns, and got around 820 out of the game. But the American missions, are just not possible. I am almost done with first of three American missions, and it is just not possible. I am tired of this games cheap kills, I think its time for this game to collect some dust.

-Avatar the Last Airbender. Yeah.... Its bad

-Call of Duty 4. Got the full 1000 acheivement points out of it Wensday, after finally beating No Fighting in the War Room, and finding all the TVs and Intel. I beat Mile High Club months ago, so I just put of all the things that were either tedious, or very hard(No Fighting Mission) Went over a friends house just to help him beat Heat, War Room, and Mile High Club, all on veternan, and in return, he let me borrow Avatar for about 4 minutes. After doing what I needed to, I quickly returned it, not allowing it to disgrace my precious collection.

So thats it, I now have to start trying to fall asleep. I will see you guys in a week, but I may have internet, but not sure how fast it will be. I may be able to read your blogs, may, but don't count on any comments.

In a Sessler Soapbox from last week, Adam Sessler, Host of XPlay, called out all of the people who are using homophobic, and racial slurs over Xbox Live. He is able to express all of our frustrations with these people in a 3 and a half minute video. I am tired of this, and can not take any more of it.

It is lightning outside, and I really don't like playing my consoles with that occuring, last time I did, my Wii had a surge go through it, and ****** it up, so I decided to do a blog.

MGS4 looks really good. I am not a metal gear fan one bit, but the new way of shooting, and running around looks alot better than the over the top way that it was played before. I was not suprised by Gamespots review, but I still belive that no game is perfect, including GTA4. Every game has its problems, and I don't like how no one is talking about them, like in GTA4. I find that the enemys are very cheap, and that the lock on system is broken, if there is an enemy behind you.

I have exams. They are almost done, but because of them, I missed the chance to go with Doug B. to go see Kojima. Only three more days. And yes Connor, I know you have summer already, and a longer one at that.

COD4 is really fun, again. I am at the 4th prestige, and enjoying the game once again. Though I was just about to beat the game on veteran when I got onto the No Fighting in the War Room, and a glitch occured. The captain would not close the door as I entered, he just kept waving his hand. They say on message boards that I have to restart the level, but I am very annoyed by this to say the least. I am wondering if 40 points is worth it.

I got DiRT. Its pretty fun. I don't think I want GRID now because I hear from friends that the game can be broken at times. Also, I got DiRT dirt cheap for 5 bucks off a friend. He also wanted me to lend him Mass Effect, which I did.

Going to Colorado. Yeah, next Sunday, I will be boarding a plane, and leaving for little over a week. I will be going to Estece( I think thats how you spell that ) Park, and going to go see a weddding as well. I think I will have internet, but no blogs, I probably won't comment on any blogs. Will be lucky if I can even log onto Gamespot. No Xbox for over a week.

Thats about it, now back to the books. See you all in July

I think we all complain about the Wii's 512 MB memory. I mean its just not enough when I want to have a bunch of Wii Ware of Virtual Console Games. But now, apparently to Nintendo Europe's Marketing Director, Laurent Fischer: "Only geeks need more than 512 MB." Thanks Nintendo. Make a console that I barley play and now insult me, thanks
