They let me have the punch out stand up display, it seems like its the first time they actually did something decently kind for me (the manager was cool about it). Whats funny though is that its facing my bed and the way its angled makes it look like little mac is trying to knock me out in my sleep

well thanks for reading and i hope everyone has a good father's day

Yes its true, and for the famous series mobile suit gundam's 30th anniversary Japan is creating an 18 meter life size gundam in Odaiba. We all knew it would happen one day
I gotta say though it's looking pretty awesome and its almost near its completion. Below are a some pictures of it and a few articles that detail the project. It looks like they are going all out for the anniversary, i only hope America benefits from it by perhaps getting the original series in a remastered dvd set or at least something. And thanks for reading guys.Starting Project Real G article

Well Ive been having a lot of fun with Punch Out for the Wii and I know many of you have too. I recently got my Amazon Punch Out Heavy Weight contender Kit in the mail a week ago, so I figured Id show you guys what came with it. Since most of you know I'm a collecting junkie, so of coarse I couldn't pass this memorabilia up. This kit contains: A King Hippo crown, a small punching bag, a Doc Louis remedy chocolate bar, and a pair of King Hippo's Boxers. While its not much its still a cool set, and it surprises me how well nintendo actually marketed this game since they haven't done this much advertising for one of their games in a long time. Oh and I have also posted my review of Punch Out!! Wii as well on gamespot. For those who would like to check it out here it is Punch Out Review
(oh and give my review a thumbs up if you can
) And again thanks for reading everyone. Here is the box it came in

This crown is pretty cool, although keeping dust off of it is gonna be a pain

A paperweight sized punching bag that will let you take out your frustration on King Hippo

And by now most of you know how much Doc Louis loves his chocolate bars, although I gotta admit it was pretty good

And last but not least are the King Hippo boxers which are covered in Mario stars.

Although I wont be wearing these since apparently the tag says it causes cancer...yea you heard me right and many sites including kotaku have reported on this. Well it looks like these will stay in the box.

Anyway (Seinfeld references aside), Since I'm done with school for the semester its finally time for me to use this summer to catch up on all the games i haven't finished or ones that I haven't put too much time into. I have a bad tendency to get one game play it for a bit and then put it down since I have another new game to play and by doing this they have piled up quite a bit and even my friends get on me about it. But now its time to buckle down and get some gaming done (lol i make it sound like work), here's just a few games I plan on playing or finishing:
Valkyria Chronicles
Zelda Phantom Hourglass
Chrono Trigger DS
Dead space
FF7 Crisis Core
Mario & Luigi Partners in time
And the list goes on from there but you get the point. Oh and I have a question for anybody reading that may be able to help me with something. Does anybody know how to make animated Gifs? I wanted to make a new gamespot avatar but I have no idea how to make one and i also don't have the kind of program that is needed to make one so i was wondering if anybody could help me. Id really appreciate it if someone could make me one with the video image I had in mind, so if you have time and can perhaps help just message me.
and again Thanks for reading guys

Alright as most of you know im a huge dragonball fan and i love everything related to the series and this may sound like a fanboy rant but i just cant stand by and let hollywood ruin another good thing without saying anything about. This movie is just not faithful to the series what so ever in so many ways, and i understand some changes and compromises must be made so it can appeal to many audiences and work as a movie but isnt the point of making a fan-service movie to appeal to its fans in the first place? I just don't think hollywood should reap the benefits of butchering other peoples good franchises since their out of ideas. I know i cant stop you guys from seeing it and its not my place to try, but i only hope that perhaps if it doesn't get the numbers they were hoping for it might teach them a lesson to not cash in on a quick movie tie in. Anyway As big of a fan as i am i will not be seeing it and i have no intention to since i don't want to warrant them the reason to make a sequel and i only hope people catch on that movies like this are the main reason hollywood isn't trying anything new since they can make just as much with little effort and the hope all the fans will give them enough money.
-End rant

Yea gohan has a right to be a little upset

So heres some more of my collection and sorry it took so long for me to get it posted but I finally got around to doing it. There are some things i cant show right now because they require me to pull everything off the shelf since they are way back behind everything, but ill be sure to get around to it. Thank you guys for the great comments on the last one im glad you guys like the pictures, so heres the next set of pictures and i hope you like them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is just a shot of my tv with all the figures and merchandise that I have stacked on top of it, lol yea its piled up quite a bit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's the same video game figures I had on here previously since half of the picture got cut off and its from a different angle

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More Godzilla figures

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My wall basically has figures for wallpaper
, in this picture you can see many of my marvel legend figures and my metal gear solid 20th anniversary figures. And my Hylian Shield replica is in the middle which is surrounded by pokemon mini figures and a few of my castlevania figures.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My pakaged game figures are on my wall pictured here, and as you can see there are Resident evil 4 figures and various Nintendo figures (these ones are very hard to find now)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my bottom shelf and its basically most of my manga and also some: mario dioramas, fullmetal alchemist mini figures, a super mushroom bank, the state alchemist pocket watch but you can barely see it in the corner in its box, and a few other things.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the top shelf in the corner of my room and in the pic you can see i have a few final fantasy figures, nintendo monopoly, a link riding epona figure from majora's mask, a Petey piranha plush, castlevania mini figures, a Dragonquest 8 hero figure, a justice league figure set, and a few other things including a nine tailed fox naruto boxed statue but its hidden between most of the stuff and you can barely see it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the other side of the last top shelf I have many FF7 statues as well as some fullmetal alchemist, bleach, Inuyasha, and a Red 13 figures. Oh and a figure of Gizmo from gremlins.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More DBZ figures, this time Its most of the figures from the Cell saga part of the series, (ingnore the dust lol)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A close up of all the stuff I have on top of my entertainment center, in this picture there is my samus statue, my Ryu ninja gaiden statue, a Venom statue, guyver figures, some naruto mini figures as well as a set of larger sasuke and itachi comicon figures, and a twilight princess wii mote set.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And finally here are some of my PS2 games and some games from a few other systems, the rest of them bend around the corner and ill take pictures of those for the next blog.

So I finally got my Super Saiyan Goku Medicom 12" figure in the mail today and its pretty awesome so I thought id let you guys check it out. Im still going to continue with pics of my collection so that's still coming soon. Anyway this figure is from the Manufacturer Medicom and is part of their real action heroes line of fully articulated figures, there's also a Piccolo and normal Goku figure as well but i couldn't afford those
. I had been waiting for this figure for about a year or so but it was worth the wait, although my favorite character is gohan i just couldnt resist getting this figure, it will go nicely with my Metal Gear Solid and Fullmetal Alchemist Real action hero figures. Hope you guys enjoy heres some pics of the front and back and another picture with the removed figure. Oh and I don't approve of the Dragonball movie so I dont think people should give it their money which would give them enough reason to make a sequel, please Hollywood stop destroying my favorite franchises.heres the front of the box

front of the figure through the window display

back of the box

heres how the box opens up to reveal the figure

and heres some shots of the figure from the company

Well It took me a while to fix my camera but i finally did so Id like to show you all my collection of figures, games, anime and anything relating to those. Ive amassed this collection over the coarse of my entire life and Im somewhat proud of it, there's so much more that I couldn't even show though since most of its in storage but ill be showing bits of it at a time since i didn't want to unload like 30 pictures in one blog. And if you guys have any questions or would like to know whats in certain pictures or if you want to see close ups of certain things just let me know and ill send you a pic or ill put it in my next blog. Anyway have a look and thanks for reading.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is just a corner of my room but ill be getting more in depth for the other parts, and likely come to some of these items.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In this Picture are most of my video game related figures that are unboxed, at the top there are the zelda minish cap mini figures and throughout the rest of the picture you can see some other figures from different games such as: ocarina of time, Majoras Mask, Phantom Hourglass, Twilight Princess, New Super Mario Bros, and Ryu that came with Street Fighter 4. I might take another picture of this one since half got cut off

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Below is my DBZ collection, these figures are from the American toy line made by Jakks Pacific and Irwin, i have them separated by sagas as well and this one reflects the BUU saga. Ill have the rest of these and my japanese collection up another time

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are some the mini figures or (Gashapon) that i have, and these particular ones are From the fullmetal alchemist series and behind those are godzilla mini dioramas. Some of these required a bit of assembly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some More DBZ figures, the giant Gohan figure is one of my favorites, as well as a sasuke clock. These are stacked on top of 12 inch DBZ figures that I will show later on. There is also a 15 inch King Kong figure in the background as well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Im a huge godzilla fan so one of my main hobbies is to collect anything godzilla related. One of the hardest parts though is that nearly all godzilla merchandise is from Japan so its always expensive, but ive managed to get my hands on quite a few good things especially at conventions.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In this picture you can see most of my final fantasy play arts figures, the advent children ones are stacked behind these and I have a few more shelves of them as well.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And this is my closet where i keep all my games and dvd's, as you can see im running out of room so alot of stuff is stacked. Ill pull some of this stuff out next time so you guys can see better.

I'm glad this game finally has a firm release date since most of us thought it wouldn't come out till July. For some reason gamespot keeps referring to it as a remake which i hope isn't the case since new characters would be great, and there is a new character on the cover as well. Since there is such little information it will be pretty hard to gauge what this game will be like until they release more info but ill remain optimistic, since I and many other have been waiting for this game since the last game on the SNES. Well any way I'm rambling so here's the box art for the game and come May 18th Punch out and little mac will make their triumphant return.

This is a list of 10 games im really looking forward to this year, although It may change as new titles are announced at events lik E3. There in no particular order and Im not sure if they will do well but as long as there fun and a great gaming experience who cares right? anyway here they are and I would have put a few others as in honorable mentions but there weren't really enough games for that anyway.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bionic Commando

This game looks incredible, and is a cool return to the world of Bionic commando. The Original NES Bionic commando is part of my childhood and seeing it return after all these years its awesome, Rearmed was cool enough but this makes it that much better. With gameplay thats somewhat like spiderman with weapons and much more its shaping up to be a good game, now the wait for it will be the hardest part.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Batman: Arkham Asylum

Batman is back and better than ever in this dark atmospheric game. Batman games are usually not very good and with a character that great its hard for them to live up to peoples expectations. But this game looks to do everything that those other games couldn't (except the NES Batman, that game was awesome). It has a great premise and even better visuals, on top of that it has the voice talents from batman the animated series so it has the makings to be a pretty good game so heres hoping it turns out well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ghostbusters The Video Game

After the massive delay this game had after being dropped by Activision until it got a new publisher, my excitement had died down a bit. But now its back and i cant wait to get my hands on this game and bust some ghosts. Ever since I was young I have wanted a great ghostbusters game that would create the experience of being a ghostbuster but the only one that was ever decent was the Sega Genesis ghostbusters game, until now. With a great physics Engine, a script written by Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd, and staring the original ghostbusters complete with the original cast This game is about to make all my childhood dreams become a reality.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Prototype]

The freedom this game conveys is incredible and it looks like loads of fun. I have The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction for the original Xbox which was made by the same developers and if this game is as much fun as that game it will be a blast to play. It may look a bit repetitive on the outside but im sure there's much more to this game than meets the eye since it seemed the same way with the hulk game and that game rocked.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Muramasa: The Demon Blade

Who ever said gaming isn't an art form is crazy and should be shot (im looking at you Roger Ebert). This game oozes awesome and brings back the incredible 2D gameplay that ive missed for so many years. The recent resurgence of 2D games has me very optimistic about upcoming games and Muramasa should definitely make people take notice. The fluid animation and solid looking gameplay have had my interest since this game was first shown to the public. Its the little touches that make certain games great and this game looks like it will have plenty.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Resident Evil 5

The pinnacle of the survival horror genre has returned and its shaping up to be pretty good. The demo was a bit discouraging at first since it seemed a bit clunky but there's only so much you can gauge off of a demo and im sure the actual game will end up much better. The co-op works pretty well and seems like it will add to the tension of the massive hordes that will be attacking you. It may not be the greatest game of the year but its good to see the series is alive and well, and im sure it will live up to my expectations.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Punch Out Wii

This one is long overdue and im glad its making its triumphant return. With old school characters and a distinct art design all its own little mac is poised to be the champ once again. While the motion controls will be cool im still hoping they have an alternative type of control that lets us play it like the original games. There's only the one trailer for this game so the info is pretty scarce but its good to see Nintendo is trying to resurrect some of its best franchises.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story

The first two were great and im looking forward to the next entry in the series. Im not too much of a fan of Paper mario but I do like the DS mario RPG's and the thought of controlling bowser has me very excited. The puzzles and duel gameplay look cool, and the concept of traversing through bowser's innards is truly unique and it looks absolutely amazing on the DS. With no firm USA release it may be a while till we see this game but I can wait, and im sure it will be worth the wait.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dissidia Final Fantasy

A dream come true for Final Fantasy fans and a great fighter for the PSP. With every main hero and villain from the FF series everyones favorite character can let loose and destroy there friends favorite. With fast combat and plenty of strategic depth this game has had my attention for a while. With the japanese version released in december watching all the gameplay videos and reading all the info it looks like to me that this game will shape up to be an all around great experience, and my psp needs more attention its been collecting dust for a bit and this game will put it back to work.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Street Fighter 4

And last but not least is Street Fighter 4, a game ive been waiting for since SF3. Arcades were my second home in the early 90's and its good to see the king of the fighting genre return to its rightful glory. Everything in this game looks phenomenal, and since I got the chance to play the arcade version in december i have been obsessed with this game. It plays great and brings back the feeling of the old days, Im going all out for this game, i have the collectors edition reserved and the tournament edition arcade stick coming in the mail. I would say this is my most anticipated game of the year, but i wont count the other games out till ive tried them. But at the moment i cant wait to get my hands on this game, i just hope the online runs great, that would be the icing on the cake.

Well this would be my first entry in my blog on gamespot so I'm still relatively new to it but here goes. I thought id post a pic of my Hylian Tattoo I got a few years ago between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, its based solely on my love for the zelda franchise and Ocarina of Time in particular. And the other picture is my mario kart DS emblem that I made when the game was released. Both It and my zelda tattoo were in different issues of Nintendo Power Magazine. Mine would be the bowser sprite drawing on the top in the middle, I'm guessing the picture i gave them wasn't too clear because they had to recreate the image and they made a few mistakes but whatever it still looks close enough and I'm just glad its in there. You can find my tattoo in the Twilight princess issue of Nintendo Power its under the name sephiroth, and my mario kart picture is in the New super mario bros issue, anyway hope you guys like and thanks for reading.
