But she never lost her head, even when she was giving head, she said hey babe....take a Walk on the Wild side.

We Didn't Start the Fire

What makes a man? Is it being willing to do what's right, no matter the cost?

Sure, that and a pair of testicles. Ahh, I love it. Good NIGHT (Because it ain't evening) fellow Gamespotters! I have a warm gift for you all to enjoy. Recently Greg (GregD), Marco (Kravyn81), NJ (Braindeadracer), and I took part in some lovely conversations ranging in topic from Power Rangers to the historical accuracy of Shindler's List. (Dinosaurs?)

These conversations were recorded on Skype in what is known as a "PODCAST". A "PODCAST" is a form of internet radio that can be downloaded and listened to for your enjoyment. I know that a lot of you guys do not love to COMMENT on this podcast as made evident by the post I had made regarding Episode 2, but I do believe all who enjoy "Me" for whatever god-only-knows reason should check it out.

I'm not looking for feedback here, but simply to have people participate in the community aspect of this that we plan to launch next week. We want to have people leave comments, questions, and maybe even concerns for our mental well being that we will read/comment/answer during the "show". For example, say you have a question as to why we included four George Michael songs in episode 2. You will never know the true answer unless you leave the question. I'm not raising my hand Fuhrer style and commanding that all must comment, but just like a Q&A video blog, it cannot be done without the people leaving the questions. Please participate if you wish to 1. Hear us shout your name out and 2. Be talked about on our "show" and I use that word very very loosely.

We have a grand time making these things. This can be attributed to the lack of structure that entails many of our recordings. With the exception of a few edits for some overly raunchy stuff, all our stuff is done in 1 take without any real planning or preperation. (And believe me, it shows) I hope you guys & girls listen and also participate in next week's romance explosion that will be Episode 4. And even if you don't like it, you still listened, so we GOT'CHA any way. Please keep in mind that we mainly do these to entertain ourselves, and we're not trying to be news givers or anything like that during these. We DO however wish to get people "involved" so stuff like guests, and questions blah blah blah etc etc etc is all a part of that.

Who knew that a picture of Chris Crocker wearing Fingerless Gloves and holding a Shotgun would take us so far?

http://www.gcast.com/u/FingerlessGlove/main

Here are some quick "Normal" blog things I'd like to get out of the way:

-Diablo 2 is ****ing amazing. My level 23 Sorceress ChrisCrocker has me clicking like there's no tomorrow. (I am addicted to this game) I have really good gear for my level and have maxed out my stash. And this has NOTHING to do with my hours of farming and level grinding.

-Coldplay's new album isn't good. Download either Violet Hill or Viva la Vida and then just play The Scientist/Clocks/Yellow/Trouble on loop for an entire hour. You'll get your Coldplay fix that way. Score = C-

-Dance-Punk is awesome. I just received albums from "The Ting Tings" and "!!!". Expect reviews shortly.

-The movie Lars and the Real Girl is one of the most touching movies I've ever seen. Go read the plot synopsis and you'll be shocked that I feel this way. Review coming shortly.

-I am still rather sick and cannot really sleep (Hence the blog)

-After seeing five episodes on BETJ one night I am very interested in tracking down the DVD of Noah's Arc Seasons 1 & 2

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah%27s_Arc

(I'm weird, I know)

-I bought another pair of Vans! YEAH!

Alright guys and girls of all ages. That is it for this blog. Listen to the podcast and leave your recommended psychiatrist's number and we'll try to fix our rather warped brains.

Just kidding.

Stuffing feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken.

I'm watching Fight Club right now, hence the quote. Here's the general gist of things.

1. I have a new purchase which I will give impressions of in a video blog tomorrow.

2. I am starting to feel the way I did last year when I was bed ridden with advanced bronchitis. To make a short story even shorter, I AM VERY VERY VERY SICK.

3. Our podcast is on it's second episode and has been described as "Funny", "Fantastic", and "Amazing". Check it out at http://www.gcast.com/u/FingerlessGlove/main

4. Big shout outs to any other podcasts that have developed in the community. Hopefully my voice isn't as raspy as it is now and I'll be able to participate in tomorrow's Mi Casa Su Casa whenever it is recorded.

That's all folks! Get ready for a 2 part video blog bananza tomorrow.

A Written blog from yours truly.

So! I have played a total of ZERO games during this past week. The sole exception being 20 minutes of various Live Arcade games. I can't even remember the last time I actually played No More Heroes or Boom Blox either. I may send one of these two games back to Gamefly in order to attempt to track down a Gamecube copy of Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

That's right. All of this Metal Gear talk has given me the slight itch to go back and play the first two games. I feel that by doing this, I will get a slight sense of whether or not these games have any merit in my own personal sick and twisted mind. My sole experiences with Metal Gear came when I was 7 and then later when I was like 11-12. I played the demo for Metal Gear Solid at a friend's house and while she didn't know how to play it either, I was even worse at the tank like controls.

Then I was at a friend's house years later playing the sequel, unsure again of how the **** to play the game properly. I remember attracting a **** load of guards and trying to use the cardboard box to hide while in their view. The person had to take the controller away from me. These experiences along with a general confusion as to what the hell these games are about story wise, have been the main proprietor in my avoidance of them. While the general consensus from the usual bandwagon jumpers has been "YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME!" in regards to Metal Gear Solid 4, I'd rather see if I can even enjoy the past games before I even consider playing the new one.

Now let's talk about music shall we?

I've recently discovered an "Artist" by the name of "Santogold". Santogold is a female (Get ready for this) Indie Rock, Dub, New Wave, Punk Rock, Psychedelic rock, Art Rock, and Electronic singer/songwriter. My latest binge for all the innovative electronic music from the year 2007 onwards (LCD Soundsystem) has led me to checking her out.

Now, if the album cover from her debut CD showing Santogold or "Santi White" vomiting glitter didn't throw you off, then you will probably enjoy her music.

The genre of Dance-Punk that has emerged in the more recent years with people such as LCD Soundsystem, Datarock, and !!! has been a staple of my music listening. This leads me to the Electronic/Punk/Dub artist "Santogold". Santogold's sound is very similar to that of M.I.A. another "Musician" who incorporates several hundred ****ing genres into her music. M.I.A. has made her mark for me by sampling The Clash's "Straight to Hell" and the cash register sound from Pink Floyd's "Money" for her single "Paper Planes". M.I.A.'s album was very Dub-Hip-Hop influenced which is a sort of music that I do not really favor. Santogold seems to be leaning towards more of a early Art-Rock/Punk thing with some electronic thrown in for good measure.

The only problem with this is Santogold herself has said the album's main "goal" was to "help break down boundaries and genre ****fications". Santogold says she does this by using genres that are considered "sub-cultural" such as Punk and Dub. The problem with her album mainly are the "Dub" sections. M.I.A.'s album didn't fair too well with me because it had so many songs that had an abrasive reggae shtick to them and just weren't really a treat to listen to. Santogold's album though, features several songs that are simply Punk/Rock songs with Electronic undertones. These songs are fantastic, but the tracks where she is doing her best M.I.A. impression in an attempt to make Dub/Reggae Hip-Hop are pure garbage. Santogold also shares the same producer as M.I.A. who worked on her album "Kala" but the production is only worth mentioning for the non-reggae/dub stuff.

Overall, if you liked M.I.A.'s "Kala", you'll love this album. But if you wondered what M.I.A.'s vocal ****would sound like over some nice Electronic-Rock/Punk music, it's also worth picking up.

Top Tracks:

1. Lights Out

2. L.E.S. Artistes

3. I'm A Lady

Score: B-

Well that is it for this one. Everyone be sure to check out my podcast entitled "The Effiminate Males with Fingerless Gloves Podcast". Our first episode covers some truly random topics and is a good way to burn 30 minutes if you need to. We used to have a Gcast page but I've encountered several issues with uploading so for now we're sticking to switchpod. It's a damn shame because our Gcast page features the podcast's logo, (Chris Crocker with Fingerless Gloves on holding a shotgun.) but it'll have to do.

I'm also going to be featured on the upcoming episode of Mi Casa Su Casa which will PROBABLY be recorded this Sunday. Check out both podcasts to your heart's content. Episode 2 of EMWFG will be recorded soon and will feature Kravyn81 as a guest.

Fingerless Gloves: The Pilot Episode.

This was a test to see if a recording would pan out well. Me and Braindead (Greg ditched us) talk about some stuff.
