The Professor is here!
I am very excited to say that today I stopped by Gamestop to get a copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village. I did a trade in and put what they gave me toward the game. I was surprised though when they took down my height, weight, eye color, race, hair color, and asked for my drivers lisence. Come to find out that they opperate as a pawn shop under Florida law and that they are required by law to go through all that in case the game was stolen. And then I realized that when my brother traded in a game at the Flea Market they asked no questions at all.... All the same I got nearly $8.00 off the game by trading in Harvest Moon DS. I am still supossed to wait 3 days until I'm allowed to play again, but I figured that it is only three days. And now I have to do homework. Happy Gaming

The Town of St. Mystere
Well, my brother and I finally got ahold of Professor Layton and the Curious Village. We had been checking constantly for over a week and finally got it! Unfortunately, I had a seizure a couple days prior, and as a consequence was unable to play. But I had been waiting to try this game for weeks and I just had to try it. I played at 20 minute intervals (most of the time
) and was hooked from the moment I started. The graphics and cartoon like opening are amazing. They were better than I had expected and I was immediately blown away. However I have been plauged by migraines nearly everday since the seizure, and decided to stop gaming for awhile to see if it got better. To my great disappointment the pain is much better and they are far less frequent. So for now I am forced to stop
and I will try again later and see what happens; probably when it has been a full month. I expect the next ten days or so to go by fast since school starts in two more days, and soon the beginning of September will be right around the corner. And when that day finally comes I will be marching down to EB Games or Gamestop and getting my own copy of the dear professor.

I am BATMAN!
I went to Gamestop today to see if they were accepting pre-orders for the upcoming game Lego Batman. I was thrilled to see that they were so I pre ordered one. I am so excited about this game that I was worried about not being able to get a copy when it came out (though I believe that that is an unlikely possibility). The game still has a little over a month until release but now that I pre-ordered it it doesn't seem like an eternity anymore. Other than that my brother and I did a Blockbuster game pass. We thought it was a good last horay for the dwindling weeks of summer. The first two games we rented were Okami (my bro wanted that cuz he had heard it was good. Gamespot gave it a 9.0) I personally thought it sounded boring but I have been made a believer. Once you get past the tutorial that takes forever it actually pretty cool. And I must say that it is worthy of a 9, although the controls are not as smooth as I would like. The other game that we got was the latest Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbosses Treasure or something like that. I am enjoying it very much. The puzzeles are puzzling (no pun intended) and there is a feeling of significant satisfaction that one gets when they figure something out that they've been working on for a long time. Cheeseater, you were right, it's pretty cool. I would also like to try Rune Factory for the DS as well as Professor Layton and the Curious Village because I have heard really good things about both games; especially the Professor. My brother wants to try Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and some others that I can't remember. These next several weeks will be plenty interesting.
