Today is a Yank Holiday that should be honored; however not by blind waving of flags in psuedo patriotic obligation, but rather in reflection. A reflection of who wrote the Constitution, what they stood for and how it is no longer prevalent in today's world.

Now don't get me wrong. I LOVE my country. There is NO WHERE on this spacial blue ball I would rather live. I can do what I want, I got an education, I can worship who or how I choose, I can watch porn, I can fornicate with my fiance, I can travel, I can even par take in a few vices. In my ambitions and way of life I am limited pretty much by my own morals and judgements. The same can not be said for the 100% of the rest of the world.

I feel fortunate and privledged that I can wake up in the morning and not have a battle zone going on within 20 miles of my house. I am at piece knowing there is a good chance my house will not be broken into and vandalized. I have comfort knowing that my parents, when they need it, will have exceptional medical care. I am thankful for all the true good people of my countries past that have paved the way to the amazing aspects of life I realize today.

And on that upbeat note to those of you who are also my countrymen Have a safe & Happy 4th of July. To the rest of the world have a wonderful & exciting weekend!

So this was like the WORST morning ever.

First the ALARM went off, and ya know? It just kept going off... I was like... OMG STFU! and it just kept going off!Which made the dogs bark...and because they barked they had to jump all over the bed and do their best imitation of that Rotty from Over The Hedge ("PLAY! PLAY! PLAY!"). THEN getting out of bed they head butted my ball sack as I was getting on shorts. Then on the walk one got away and a car ran over him... then while I was running to the middle of the road to get him there was a drive by shooting at a house down the street and in the ruckus they didn't see or my fiancé me and ran over my other dog narrowly missing my fiancé! That wasn't enough, because we could clearly ID the car they started shooting at us.. they hit my fiancé and she went down and I also got shot in the leg.

So there I am bleeding out in the leg, trying to drag my self and my now dead dog to my fiancé and my other probably dead dog when a neighbor comes out with a phone... he dials the phone and points to the sky... there's a crackle and the power goes out in the neighbor hood and with the power also goes the water (because the well pump station lost power too!). The atmosphere grows thick with current and the clouds come together and start swirling... then a light breaks through and hovering on it was a little pocket watch that is gently floating down to my hand. I glanced over at it and inscribed on the back said "Be Kind... Rewind!" so I did, and next thing you know the alarm went off... and my dogs started barking...

I've been waiting on getting this game, I've got enough right now but when I saw it new for $25 I had to have it. It's another Amazon gold special:

I had this beautiful blog about how I lost 10lbs over the last month on the Wii, with a riviting back story. Hit submit and said there was an error, hit the search button and the browser froze.

I'm getting a little frustrated with GS. I've dedicated FireFox on one computer to GS because it crashed IE, its the only application I have open on this PC. Grrr...

So yeah, Wii Fit, 1 month, lost 10lbs, couldn't lose weight before it although going to gym since the beginning of the year (lost fat, but gained weight).

GRRRR!

So I mentioned a few blogs back that I got the game Rockband. I bought it after I picked up the drums cheap on eBay. They were an "open item in new like condition".

When I went to set it all up I noticed something... THE PEDAL WAS BROKEN! Now I immidiately dashed for the InterWebz to see if this was common... and I was shocked to see it was! And then I read the EA Warranty horror stories.

So first thing I did was scour the internet for a replacement pedal, or at least something that would allow me to play. Well I went through the never ending list of metal band aid pedals and I found a solid wood one that would get rid of the plastic piece. So I bought it. It came in and worked just beautifully.

So a few days later the guy emails me to make sure if its ok, I tell him it is, and also what I do and offered my services.

Fast forward to today, I just completed making a set of down and dirty templates for him to use on eBay. Sure he's paying me more than I ended up paying him but sometimes you'd be surprised where new business opportunity can pop up.
