My first play through of a game I pay no attention to the trophies. When I get one, great. After the game is completed, I'll relpay and concentrate more on achieving the trophies. The game has to be fun/enjoyable inorder for me to replay.

I have been told by a lot of people that I am a trophy hunter, trophy whore, trophy collector. I just want to clear things up. I play a lot of different games, I have a great job with extra, disposable income, therefore I play a multitude of games. I have been known to help others achieve certain trophies if I have the same game as they. Now many of you may look at my list and say, "Stephen, you have games like Hannah Montana, UP, etc" Yes, this is true, but to be fair, I have dated women who have children and they play games aswell. I don't think trophies are completely useless; I do believe they help with replay value AFTER the game is completed. However, one should not throw down $60+ with the intent to gain digital pictures. Games like Hitman: Absolution have been a joy to try and paltinum as I have completed almost everything within the game. If I were a trophy whore/hunter, don't you think I would have more than 20 platinums and more completed games out of the 420+ games on my list? Sorry for the rant just very frustrated with certain people saying I give gamers a bad name, or saying that I am a trophy whore. Any platinum I have achieved has a special meaning to me, whether it was achieved with my best friend via coop, or the game being one of my favorite series. i.e. Smackdown, or Hitman or brought to us by a favorite developer, i.e. Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption. Thank you for reading and provided is a link to my game and trophy list. Sound off on what you think. Questions? Comment? COmplaints?
