Fable 2 and the top 25 games on the 360 so far... Do you agree?

Now, for us all it is less then 10 days to my favourite release of this holiday season, Fable 2, and it cant come soon enough!
Even though it has had a bad press getting to us, like online co-op not shipping with the game, but now promised to be on xbox live from day 1, and the fact the ltd edition contents got changed and prices changed, i still think, this will be the best game this year.
Everyone is going to have their own opinion on what is going to be the best game this holiday, with Gears 2 and CoD5, it is really down to personal preference, but the whole aspect of freedom in Fable, and how who do a quest or challenge will effect every aspect of the games outcome, is something i cant wait to lavish in!

However, something i do want to put up for debate is the list on ign about the best 360 games to date.

i loooove this list, and although i would change the list slightly, i think the winner is not only a shock, but well deserved, here are the top 25 games:

    25. Ninja Gaiden 2 - a nice entry here, as this is probably the last NG game to see, its great to see this bloody franchise in the top list.
    24. Crackdown - obviously, not quite GTA, but im sure fans were kept entertained with this game while the fun lasted.
    23. Dirt - Not a game i tried but a game that my friends thoroughly enjoyed in the single player aspect, and visuals to match.
    22. Battlefield: Bad Company - another personal favourite, to me, CoD4 but better because of the humour and destructable cover, and especially the great innovitive side of the online play.
    21. Virtua Fighter 5 - The series got upgradeded, revamped, and played better then its predicesors, a nice title.
    20. Eternal Sonata - Really glad this made the list, an unsung hero of the RPG world, with nice visuals, and an admitably a long and sometimes both invloving and tedious story, this was still a great title to both watch and play
    19. Forza Motorsport 2 - Well we all know this, probably the best racing game to date, with both superb single and online play, with amazing customization of the cars too, a solid game.
    18. NHL 09 - again, i cant comment on these types of games, but visually, looks stunning, im afraid you'll have to tell me your opinions on this game...
    17. Guitar hero II - the GH with no doubt the best setlist, and a game like this is nothing but gaming fun!
    16. Fight Night Round 3 - more known to me for its easy g, this is however the best fighting game to date, with realistic impact and damage, and great gameplay too.
    15. Skate - With tony hawk not quite living up to its expectations, this led the way for a new skating game, and this not only took tony hawk off the top spot, but does it in an emmense manner
    14. Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise - improving on the first in every aspect that needed improving, this 'sims with pinatas' game is a breath of fresh air on a console with many dark games...
    13. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - With online being its biggest plus, the story mode was still worth playing for major fans of the game or not, and with it being a tom clancy game, the quality is of course there.
    12. Grid - a surprise entry for me, but well deserved, with visuals and a crazy slides of driving incorporated, this major moster of a mash of crashes not as big as burnout, but more stylish then Forza, a great addition to your collection.
    11. Civilization Revolution - The first Civilization game to hit the 360, and it plays soo well and smooth, and it gives you that certain satisfaction that no other game really gives you, superiority!!
    10. Dead rising - i can only say, NO NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!
    9. Rock Band 2 - despite the price tag, the greatest music game to date, essential for parties and looking like a prat, fun for any occasion, and with some awesome songs too!
    8. Elder Scrolls Oblivion - Well, have you played it! Simply amazing, over 80 hour of pure rpg goodness, and a story with so many side quests you head will explode, but thats a good thing, trust me!
    7. Orange Box - The BEST compilation ever, and when those games include Half Life (need i say more), portal, easily the must fun set of challenges a game can offer, and Team Fortress, a medley of shooting cartoon madness and comicness, need you ask for more?
    6. Bioshock - With its countless awards, it was kinda obviuos it was going to be up at the top, and with a story to match any RPG, and gameplay thats deep, invloving, and most of all exciting, this is a desevered game for xbox gamers to remember.

    The top 5!

    5. Grand Theft Auto IV - the best in the GTA series to date, could only make number 5 in this list, but with an improved story, and what seems to be a fun spin on multiplayer action, and of course, that thing, whats it called, oh yeah, violence, this game has it in bucket loads!

    4. Halo 3 - Perfection for me, the best multiplayer of any game, a story admitably short and too confusing for its own good, but with soo much customization, map editing, footage saving, great achievements, brilliant map packs, and non stop action, the best FPS on 360 for me, and should be higher...

    3. Call of Duty 4 - its not about the single player really, its all about that multiplayer, and that definately is a great multiplayer. The level and challenges added to the great maps the game already had, as well as the new ones, makes this a great game, but not a number 3 for me.

    2. Gears of War - groundingbreaking and breathtaking when it came out, this sets the bar for third person shooters (until this next title came out), and with a short but sweet story mode (see a theme for no2,3 and 4...), a great multiplayer experience saved and made this game the phenomena it is today.

    and finally

    1. Mass Effect - And what a well deserved no1 it is, and this game is all about the single player!! A campaign that gets you to feel and imbrace your team mates in a breathtakingly put together game, that is essentially faultless. With a story you control with a choice of diaolgue, action that is challenging on both your first and last run through, and so many side quests, that actually are meaning full, and show off your characters 'good and bad sides'. A game designed to be played more then once, with up to 6 different characters, 3 of which are totally different, you cant but help be amazed by the depthness and attention to detail put into this game.

    E3 was gaming pornography tbh...

I waited to post this blog till i saw all three press conferences, and lets be honest, the first one, Microsoft, was easily the best, while Wii, was easily the worst...

The big games we all expected at micorsofts press conference were there and more! Resi 5 announced it would have online co-op, i mean that it just brilliant on ever level possible, that was the only thing ever lacking from a proper Resi games, multiplayer, now we got it! Fable 2 looks better then ever, with the new multiplayer co-op system looked at more indepth, and looks truly awesome! GOW2 sets to be twice as good as its predecessor, with a crisp looking campaign emerging, and new modes announced like 5 player co-op fighting wave after wave of locust. (its all co-op so far aint it =D) There were a few other titles like lips and Rare's new banjo-kazooie, but the big shocker, and my god was it a big shocker, was that FF13 would be released for 360!!!!!! OMG, the trailer was the equivalent of pornography for the gaming industry, the graphics for the cut-scenes were typical FF, and then some, while the in-game graphics were top quality, and with the gameplay looking fast and in depth, this WILL be the title of next year, FF fan or not.

Just look at that, there is no better looking game i have ever seen...

Well, i certainly can not wait for the next few months, with Star Wars looking like a briliant single player experience, and Guitar hero 4, and Rock Band 2 look set to be the best music games to date, and so many other games not shown at the press conference but around on the floor at E3, the gaming industry looks set to have one hectic christmas season, that's for sure!

Really important!!! An FPS that doesnt use guns, and still looks good!!

Ok, when you say fps, you instantly think guns yeah? (well it does mean first person SHOOTER lol). But today, i saw footage of Mirror's Edge, and i gotta say, it looks brilliant! iits sort of like an action adventure, set in the 1st person shooter perspective. But for once, in this Next-gen era, its a game with a bit of colour, a bit of life and looks enjoyable to watch, unlike all these dark and grey games like gears, dark sector, alone in the dark etc

    Good yeah?

Well, tell a lie, you can use guns, but the developer stated that you can complete the whole game without using guns, and guns actually hinder your ability to jump as far, your agility etc. And there is a nice achievement to go with it if you do manage to do the game without a gun, so nice added extra, one to look out for this one is
