Death To Ye Who Tagged Me

Denny_Carmassi has tagged me which means by the laws of the Internet I must now write out my list of 10 "facts" or whatever it's about. Here we go...

1 ) I will start with one that isn't much of a secret. I love Metal music, love it more than most things in the world and would gladly give up solid food forever instead of the music. That is not all though, most people don't know that I love my clas5ical music too and know more about it than you would think a metal fan would.

2 ) I took part in an Official Simpsons worldwide quiz a few years ago and answered 5044 questions correctly before getting my third wrong answer (the limit), I came second and the guy who won answered 5052 and won a trip to the studios to meet the cast...grrr.

3 ) I can play 23 notes per second on the guitar, not that speed is important but it's still fast lol.

4 ) I skipped a year in school so for the rest of my time in school I was a year younger than everyone else haha.

5 ) I love my history, mythology and have been writing a book on Scottish mythology for about 3 years. Favourite subjects include Vikings, Greek, Roman, WWII and Scottish obviously. I find American history to be very boring since they are a rather new country anyway!

6) I am athiest and believe that religion is an absolute disease.

7) I am left handed and play guitar right handed, I also like to play bass, piano and started learning bagpipes

I enjoy building computers and enjoy computers in general, I have taken part in several Quake tournaments with prize money and went under the names "Junglemanchild", "Auschwitz" or "Wanderer".

9) I could eat pizza everyday for the rest of my life and never get bored.

10) I have been with my girlfriend since I was 15 and wonder how she has managed to put up with me this long...(I am almost 23)

    Nice facts, that's pretty impressive coming 2nd in the world at a Simpsons quiz! And 23 notes per second! WTF? Is that using tremelo picking? That's insane lol

    :O You're a lefty too? 23 notes per second is insane for me to think about. I can only play like, less than a note a second on bass. I'm a sax player more than a bass player.
    And yes. Pizza is good.

    I do apologise for tagging you, but I have to tag someone...and absoloutely everyone's been tagged so far. It was hard to find three active member who hadn't been tagged. I'll accept my fate now

    The Simpsons quiz was a helluva interesting fact. I doubt I even know 1000 things about The Simpsons, never mind 5044 pieces of information about them.

    American history is a bit boring, except for the Civil War.

    23 notes per second? Jeez man, as a bassist that's incomprehensable. I'm pretty sure I'd be lucky to manage 3 or 4 notes a second. Or one note a minute if I want to play Funeral Drone.

    @ JunglemanchiId - Do you know if you can still find that Simpsons quiz online? I would like to try it. Even though it does sound epically large.

    @dahui58 - using tremelo picking gives impressive speed, same with double hand tapping and sweep picking using the plectrum on the fret board at the same time to tap the top and bottom strings, hard to explain lol, Michael Angelo Batio does it on his speed lives video. I think the quiz is long gone, I tried to find it a couple of months back with no luck. The website it was on has something else on it now.
    @Spotty_Bug - I have seen guitarists using their feet lol, very impressive.
    @LordKingBoat - Pizza is indeed the food of kings. lol well she hates metal and I love it, we dislike each others music taste, I suppose that gives us something to laugh about .
    @EmeraldDraconis - Lefty yes lol , I learned right handed because left handed instruments are too expensive. @Denny_Carmassi - NPS is a bit hard to understand, using certain techniques can boost the speed obviously, bass would be a lot harder to achieve this. The Civil War is even boring...compared to...anything lol.

    To anyone interested the 23nps is not picking...thats unnatural. Put both hands on the fret board and do tapping and some sweeping . My count for picking is around 12 I think....
