Wow, has it really been that long since I got a Vita game? The last game I got for the system was Gravity Rush back in July. Anyway, here's what I got today.

I wanted the game when it first game out, but at 40 dollars, I didn't have the money for it because all my gaming funds were going into the Wii U. After just finishing Assassin's Creed III on the Wii U, I felt the need to finally get this game. Just my luck, Best Buy had it on sale for 30, and I had 20 dollars in Reward Zone coupons, so I ended up scoring it for 10.83!

I'm looking forward to seeing how close this game is to a console Assassin's Creed.

Haven't heard much about it, but it seems like a solid purchase.

I am looking forward to playing Assassin's Creed III when I get the Wii U.

@Pierst179 If you have a PS3 or 360, I suggest you buy those versions instead.  There's a lot wrong with the Wii U version, and it doesn't do enough creative things with the gamepad that warrants buying it over other superior versions.

According to most reviewers AC Liberation is a decent game but it fails to live up to it's console counterpart and the series as a whole. Hopefully you'll get some enjoyment out of it!

@robertcain It's enjoyable so far, but the problem I'm seeing is that I get the sense the developers believed that people just don't want to play a game as big as the console versions on a smaller screen.  Well, they're just wrong.  It could have definitely benefited from the same level of presentation as its console mainstay.

Wow, good deal.  I know there have been a couple of really good deals on Vita games the past month, some I wish I could have taken advantage of.

So Gravity Rush was really the last game you bought?  You didn't buy anything digitally since then?  Because there have been some pretty good download-only titles added to the PS Store since July.  That's actually when I got my system and Gravity Rush.

The only other cartridge game I've bought since then is Lego LOTR.  It's o-kay, but not nearly as good as the console ones from what I've gathered.  I'm hoping to get PSASBR and LBPV at some point, and there are also some older games I want to pick up like Disgaea 3 and Katamari, but I'm waiting on their prices to come down a bit.  $45 and even $35 is a bit much for an early niche title on a system that is still trying to find a larger user base.

@Ovirew I did get Sound Shapes, but I don't consider PSN titles to be Vita games just as I don't call XLBA games 360 games.

smart move to wait.

when I think of all the cash I wasted in the past buying games at launch.  Getting a game on the first day as a present and then an extra for myself - how many more games could you buy if you waited a couple months

Be thankful you got it now. Up until about 2 weeks ago there was a glitch that was corrupting people's save files, including mine. I got about 6-7 hours in when I hit the glitch and lost all my progress. Ubisoft has since released a patch but I still had to start over. Still a pretty good game though.

@CoolKid006 Egad... I also heard about the ACIII DLC that was wiping console saves... Ubisoft has to be the leading company now when it comes to glitches..
