  • RIP Michael Crichton

    I'm a few days late with this, but I only just learned that Michael Crichton passed away unexpectedly earlier this week. He was best known as the author of Jurassic Park, of course, but if I had ever been lucky enough to meet him it's Westworld that I'd have thanked him for. It's one of the few movies I remember seeing as a kid that I'm still crazy about today. Hopefully the upcoming remake will be a fitting tribute to its creator. Continue »
  • Introducing: After the Fact

    This is cut-and-pasted from our reviews blog. So, last week I told that you that we were launching a new reviews-related feature, and about five minutes ago we did. After the Fact: Reviews Revisited is a way for us to update our reviews (without actually changing the original text or score) as games evolve after their release. This is a response to us noticing that our reviews, while accurate on day one, are becoming outdated as patches and game "updates" become more common.
