I'm shocked, I heard rumours of the sacking six hours ago, although they were growing with intensity, I just couldn't believe them. You may well be a hard nosed businessman, but I've agreed with all of your decisions.....up until now.
The sacking of Nigel Adkins is tragic, I've rattled my brain to try & think of a more undeserved sacking in the world of football....& lets face it, there has been many! But, I can't think of one that is as bad as this. The man had achieved to consecutive promotions, but he didn't dine of them, he fought harder because of them. He stayed true to the clubs beliefs, he remained loyal to his own. He inspired players that maybe didn't have the required talent, he brought on youngsters who hadn't had a chance. If Ted Bates were around, I think he would have said there wasn't a better man for the job.
God, this feels terrible writing this, I've ever doubted any decision you have made, but I just keep shaking my head in disbelief, is this really happening, this week, now? Have you not seen what has be going on, not just in match days but behind the scenes as well? The guy is loved here, he's credited as being the motivational source of our recent run. Just this week players came out & said they have never worked with someone so positive, its infectious, its infected our group, its why we having been losing games, they all believe in him. I hope the squad are not taking this as badly as some of us, if they are we are in real danger.
The timing is so inexplicable, we've been so high this week, a fantastic win on Saturday followed by the most spirited away performance at one of the big four we'll likely to see this season (I'd say that's a given now). The football will frown on you, & there is nothing we can do. So do expect other clubs to stick the knife in, that's the nature of the game when you are involved in a multi-million pound relegation battle, we are now an easy target. Talk about giving your rivals a massive lift.
Saying all that, sitting here with my heart ripped out, I can't turn my back on my club & I've never booed a Southampton player or staff member. But we all live by our actions, & we all pay for our mistakes, I hope after seeing all the feedback you still feel you have made the right decision hiring Mauricio Pochettino. Time will tell & there will be little places to hide.

I don't think he'll be coming back, but worth a go. Already been looking at a new slim, not a slimmy slim, just a regular slim, one with a memory, none of this 12gb craposium.
Hoping to know by next week, only a couple hours away from finding out if Max Payne cracks a smile at the end, the exspense is killing me!

Tomorrow I have to go under general anesthetic to get the tendon in my thumb repaired. It was severed severely about 5 weeks ago, & a couple crap doctors advice means this has been in the post for quite some time. Having partial movement is my second most concern as it stands, my main one is being put to sleep. I despise needles, my the thought of artificially being put to sleep worries me greatly.
So, if this Blog page stands for a long time, with no additions, we can safely assume it didn't go to plan. If that'sthe case, then my legacy lives on in my children. If hell is full of fire, then heaven will surely look something like Super Mario Galaxy three.
Remember, we just borrow our time, not own it, so spend it wisely.

The Wii is the first Nintendo I have owned. Back in the day I was a megadrive boy, then an Amiga lad & then came the long Playstation years. I find the wii a totally refreshing bit of equipment. A console that has brought out games like Super Mario titles, Kirby, Donkey Kong & Zelda, & whilst not having the best graphics in the market place, it surely has the best overall reliability when all things are considered. I've never had a glitch, let alone crash, touch wood, in-fact no need!
Wii sports was a awesome title, but combined that with your personalised save file that is a Mii.....well, I'm sold all over again. So as Wii U approaches, I'm not ready to let go just yet.The Mayans might be wrong about the world ending in 2012, but a few of the consoles will face a fight as replacements stake a claim, but I will need a lot of convincing to ditch this baby.

.....cold wet windy weather lays its hat at the door, & the evenings light fades fast.
The good games are back, & the holiday filler games shall be forgotten. No more movie tie ins or badly constructed sports games, lets have some Resistance with a dash of Space Marines, maybe a tad of dead island....until the Rage sets in.

Quite a few years back, I knew this guy, bit of a smoker, bit of a criminal. To fund his worsening drug habit he'd do burglaries & just be a awful human being in general. The sort of lad you'd only see on a social level, drunk on a Friday night, about to get punched out by a bouncer outside the cheapest club in the area.
So around the same time, this guys brother borrowed my Amiga 600, fair play, we used it around his house far more than mine, so it seemed like a good plan at the time. Anyway, long story short, his unsavoury brother took it to the local pawn shop & got a couple notes for it. Nice hey.
Needless to say, I cut all ties, then moved away & subsequently moved on.
So, 16 or 17 years have passed since, & today I took my little girl to see a relative in the town where I once lived. We walked to the local park, partly because of my curiosity, mainly because the kid loves parks! But on the way, I see matey, clear as day walking up the road towards me. Man, he looked rough, like he'd really aged, kinda homeless smack head looking. He didn't raise his head as he passed,I didn't raise asmile.Thought I'd feel glad, but you know what, I don't, I pity him & his family, but I must say, the choices you make in life do have repercussions it seems, & karma is only around the next corner if all you care about is yourself & your next hit.

All of earth became devoted to this effort. The planet crackers were built.
The USG Ishimura was the first and most famous.
Planet crack become routine. Its spoils kept us alive.
Eventually the greedy eyes fell upon the Aegis 7.
Restricted for centuries for reasons are unknown.
Greed and corruption saw to the demise of caution.
There, buried beneath the surface: an artifact. The Red Marker. Long lost, and long forgotten.
The religion I had once called my own had found its holy grail
the key to human immortality... or so we thought.
It did not bring salvation.
"Witness the conviction... of a True Believer!"
It brought doom.
The Marker bred insanity, murder and chaos.
It bred Necromorphs
Those who escaped the planet fled to the saftey of the Ishimura
The scourge released upon Aegis 7 came with them
Within hours, the Ishimura went dark.
The corporation dispatched a small repair crew to check on its investment
"Seems like everyone was trying to pack in a hurry"
Among the crew was an engineer, Isaac Clarke,
"Isaac, it's me"
He had something special aboard the Ishimura.
"Wish I could talk to you. I'm..."
In the darkness, Isaac found death..
"The Hell?!"
"I dunno, something's in the room with us..."
"Open fire! Open fire!"
And the Red Marker.
It was not holy, it was not alien
It was man-made
And it could be used to stop the outbreak.
Isaac also found Nicole
"Thank you, Isaac. I always believed in you"
Dead by her own hand.
She was an apparition of the Marker
Isaac engineered his escape
But everything else was destroyed.
The next chapter for Isaac Clarke begins.
Three years later,
he awakes in a hospital on Titan station.
An Earth governed metropolis on Saturn's largest moon
Isaac has survived.
but his mind is no longer safe.
for the Marker changes all.
