    Valentine's Day, baby!

Today was Valentine's Day, and I say I had a fairly successful haul. Certainly better than ever before. 10 girls. I had the whole campaign set up: "Single & Sexy". This was given out with my cell phone number. I had tons of calls, even from some guys, which got annoying. Only two of them required candy. One of them hugged me twice. To be prepared, I was armed with SweetHearts, chocoate marshmallows, and a 3 Musketeers bar. I ended up eating the latter. Happy Valentine's Day!

How much does it rain at your place?

Here in Washington state, it rains a ton. But I am guessing a few records were set on Monday.

The Saturday and Sunday before, we had some great fun: it snowed. While Washington isn't known for its snowfall, we got around 8 inches in my area. It was great. But on Sunday at about 2:00 PM, the snow turned to rain. It did not stop until Monday evening. This rain was crazy. It was hard and made a loud ratatattat on the roof. All 8 inces of the snow were gone my the end of Monday. That's fast.

Combined with all the melted snow and heavy rain, it got chaotic. Nobody expected this, so we went to school. Then some busses got in late. My church class (seminary) had been cancelled. It would not stop raining. In the back of the school, it got waist deep with water. You couldn't open the back door in the shop room because water would jet in and flood the room. A ton of roads were getting flood and closed. Cars were getting stuck and wrecked. Then they let us call our parents on cell phones to go home. I decided to go with my friend to his house. While it usually takes his mom 15 minutes to get from her house to the school, it took her an hour. Everybody's parents were picking them up, and since all the highways were closed, every parent in the district had to drive on the same road. How horrible.

We then got to his house and played MechAssault 2 and Halo, but we had never had this much rain in my entire memory.

    Weird Al Concert

Yesterday I went to the Puyallup Fair and saw Weird Al perfrom live as part of his tour! It was awesome! He sang a ton of songs, the concert lasted for 2 and a half hours. Unfortunatly that means I got to bed at about 11:20 and got to sleep at 11:45. Then I had to wake up a 5 AM the next morning for a church class (seminary). I was TIRED all day! But it was worth it! If you can, I strongly encourage your attendance to his next performance at a city near you. You can check at weirdal.com.
