  Editorial The new age of gaming....

  I am going to predict that in the next consoles ps4 ect. that you will not buy games in stores and I will tell you why. First off there are so very few games that make back the money that is invested into making them. Then in turn they have to pay a artist to design a cover, pay someone to make up an instruction manual, pay company to stamp code on disc, package the discs, pay to send said game all over the world, so they lose money on the games that no one are going to buy there. PLUS you have all the pirates just helping themselves to the games without paying for them so they are losing money there and on top of all of that you have stores like game stop, game crazy and such that buy used games from people for next to nothing then resell the game to the next person for 3 times what they gave the sucker who traded it in and the original creator of the game did not get a cut of any profit on that sale. I am telling you friends with the economy in such a slump things are going to change in ways a lot of people are not going to like but if you want to be entertained you will still take part.
  
  Look at multiplayer games now, very very few have split screen most have went the way of online only. The only complaint I will have about these changes I will have is the ability to take my game to a friends house to play without taking my entire console. If I can just slap a copy on a SD card or something like that I will not have a complaint at all. After all it is ALL of these reasons these companies are not making all the money they should out of the games. The only thing I can tell a developer is the same thing I say about music artist if you would make a complete game worth playing with good quality people will buy it, not just good graphics or good controls. Nothing irritates people the most then to buy a CD for $20 to find out they like 1 or 2 songs out of 18.

  Fan Boys

  I really really wish that fan boys would just STFU!!!!!!! NO ONE wants to hear it, nor do we care. I know I speak for more then just myself when I say this. Just enjoy the games that you like and be thankful that you have such a variety in entertainment that you do, some are not as fortunate. Why bash each others gaming habits or what another person enjoys. I know plenty of people that were smart enough that kept there atari and colecovision even there dreamcast, but yet you still have someone who wants to put them down that they enjoy those systems. They all have something unique and they all share something in common......FUN. You fan boys really need to learn to just have fun and not worry about putting your two cents in where no one really gives a crap.
