So there's this book called Twilight...
Apparently back in 2005 this book series came out called Twilight and I didn't even know about it until I saw a trailer for the movie, which made it look pretty cool. I saw a girl reading it at school, then another, then another. Now it seems every time I walk down the hall I can spot 3 or 4 people with some form of the four books that are now out. When I first noticed these girls reading it, I thought nothing of it. It's a book, with a gothic looking cover bid deal right? I heard that it was about vampires, and this sparked my interest. Vampires are cool, right? Then I found out it was a love story, and that kinda threw me off (which is ironic because most girls say the part about vampires throws them them off).
It has recieved some pretty great reviews from what i've heard, but now I find myself in the same predicament that (surprisingly) most guys get into with this series. Being a boy, would I like it? I can't tell you how many lockers at my school that say "My Heart Belongs to Edward" (the male lead in the book), and with it being a love story and all, I'm tempted to think what people would think of me if I read it since there are a total of zero guys at my school who ,at least I've seen, who have read this book. But this doesn't surprise me because I think me and my friends are the only males who so much as step into the library for something other than an assignment and I don't think any of them have even heard of it. Bottom line, I like to read books. When someone says "This has great reviews" and I see that it has something i'm interested in I will most likely read it. So what i'm trying to say is:
A: Do you think I would like this?
or
B: Have you ever been in a situation like this?
If you havn't seen the trailer for the movie, go check it out on Youtube and see what you think.

Tales of Symphonia Impressions
(I'm around 3 and a half hours in at this time)
I'm not going to go as far as saying Tales of Symphonia is one of the best Gamecube games I've ever played (yet) since it's too eairly to tell, but I will say that so far so good. I'm really enjoying the story and the combat is a lot of fun, and somthing I've never experenced before. It's weird that you enter a battle, but it plays out like a fighting game where it's one on one, but I like it. Looking back, I dont think I've ever played an anime RPG like this before. I mean, I've played things like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and Bleach and stuff, but not an anime RPG that isn't really based off of an already existing TV show or movie or somthing like that. It's pretty cool.
With the dry season of games that is going on right now before everying is released in November and December, it's nice that I get to play a nice and long RPG with a story and characters that I care about. It's been a long time since this feeling has came back. You know the one. When you think about a game all day at school and the first thing you do when you get home is pop it in. I love that feeling.
Like I said before I'm really liking ToS, and I already want to play more of these kinds of games. So I've already decided to pick up Tales of Vesperia for the Xbox 360 later on when I beat this one. And if all goes well with that, then I'll pick up the sequal of ToS for the Wii

Three new games. One very rare!
After my brother got paid the other day, me and him went to Gamestop to get a few games. We got Burnout: Paradise, SKATE which I havn't played much yet. And the really rare game is Tales of Symphonia which I have been wanting to play for the longest time but never could find. It was the very last copy at my Gamestop and probably the last copy for a long while. This was a really good weekend.- Posted Sep 28, 2008 10:37 am GMT
