I'M OK (A Murder Simulation)
Here is a free game brought to you by the fine upstanding folks at "Thompsonsoft". This game was created in response to ambulance chaser Jack Thompson's purposal to produce a game where a grieving father would hunt down and kill game developers. Jack Thompson promised the creators of this game a large sum of cash, which he has failed to deliver on. That's ok though, because Jacky boy won't be practicing law for a long time, he's been gagged by a Florida judge for being a pain in the ass! I hope you enjoy the freeware title as much as I did.

A game based on Grindhouse
After spending the evening watching Grindhouse, I asked myself, "Why don't they make a game out of this!" There have been plenty of games made off of movie licenses over the years, and most of them are crap. Grindhouse I feel could be a whole different ball game. With the talents of a company such as Rockstar while working with Rodriguez/Tarantino, this could prove to be an amazing experience. Planet Terror could easily be the action/adventure gameplay of the two with it's lust for zombie frags and over-the-top violence. Deathproof could shine as a pure adventure game with the classic dialog that I love from Tarantino's movies. Someone out there needs to get to work.

Sometimes we must listen to the messages given to us by legacy games.
The exchange of gold for real money has done nothing but hamper the virtual worlds we occupy. Constantly I am seeing one excuse after another for the act, but still none have come up with a legit reason. When you visit and purchase services from these gold buyer's sites, not only do you put your account security at risk, but you break the EULA. On a more personal level, you have proved nothing but adding to a stereotype to our culture that you are impatient and a fiend for instant gratification.
The following quote is taken from the game Quest for Glory 1. It is the response given by the Guild Master when asked, "What is a hero?" It sums up the idea of what character development means and is lost by a select few who continue to inflate our virtual worlds.
"A real Hero is someone who didn't start out strong or powerful, but uses his courage and brains and skills to become the best he can be." -Wolfgang Abenteuer
