Finally I'm in with the Playstation 3 Crowd!
So, I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, because I sure had. I got a engaged with my girlfriend and got a Playstation 3
I don't think I've ever had a better Christmas than this one. Well, I just recently got myself a few older games for my brand new Playstation 3 and I really have to say, it's an awesome piece of electronics. The games I got were Resistance: Fall of Man and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. They're both great games from what I've played so far. I never get completely used to playing first person shooters on a console, but I've played enough of them to be pretty comfortable with it. It's a great game with great graphics and sound. It's perhaps not the deepest story of all games (I think Bioshock and Half-Life 2 nailed that one), but it's still pretty engaging, if you ask me. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is damn hard! I've never played any of the Xbox titles so I was in for a really steep learning curve. It looks and sounds great and has responsive controls, but you really have to get used to both the controls and the difficulty, because it's seriously punishing me and I refuse to go down to easy difficulty
That was all for now

Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of Wackiness
Icompleted Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome a couple of weeks ago, and I'd just like to let you all know

What I really liked about the game was the craziness of it all. You start with wizards and warriors and suddenly you're fielding soldiers, chain guns, rocket launchers, tanks and giant battle suits. It was awesome, but then again, I'm really fond of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. I never completed that, though... I got to get around to that some day, because that's also a great game for strategy RPG'ers. The graphics aren't pushing the PS2 hardware very much, but it's still awesome

F.E.A.R. Me!
Okay, perhaps I'm exagerating a bit there, but I just completede F.E.A.R. the other night. Boy, that's one creepy game! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Great game, but the ending left something to be desired, even though it was a fitting ending for a horror game. Now, I'm playing Company of Heroes which is another great game, and I'm certainly looking forward to getting through it. It's very much like Warhammer: 40,000 - Dawn of War, but it's still very different in many regards.
