All About MarcusAntonius

"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a "community organizer," except that you have actual responsibilities. I might add that in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening. We tend to prefer candidates who don't talk about us one way in Scranton and another way in San Francisco."

A proper prologue for another year of Chicago Bears football.............

"........and with the third pick in the 2009 draft, the Chicago Bears select......."

Yep. Another year of depressing ineptitude by my hometown Bears. No wonder I live in Hawaii.

Let's fact it, the defense blows chimps. I don't give a damn if it was only preseason. When you give up nearly 400 ypg and ranked dead last through four games (note, two teams played a fifth game-the Hall of Fame game in Canton, OH), you're just plain screwed. Especially when the defense is expected to make up for a crappy offense. I respect how hard Kyle Orton worked to earn the starting job over Wrecks Grossman or Gross Wreckman, pictured here:

Matt Forte had better be the next Walter Payton. It may be the only thing that keeps the Bears from being winless.

Joe Biden suffers a relapse of "foot in mouth disease"

    "She's good looking."

Wow, this one ranks right up there with, "clean black." No wonder why so many Republicans were pulling for Obama to take the bait and go with Joe Biden as his running mate. This likely won't be the last of his verbal gaffes. It's so comforting knowing this is the kind of individual who represents the political party that allegedly champions the equal rights of women and racial minorities.

Barack Obama really supports free speech, unless it affects his campaign

This is truly horrifying stuff here. This is the kind of thuggery I'd expect in Russia, Venezuela, Iran, and China, but not in America.

This is a clip of a radio show "Extension 720" regularly broadcast in Chicaco featuring a conservative social anthropologist Stanley Kurtz and his research into Obama's past using library archives obtained from the University of Chicago (which they refused to release until public pressure changed their minds).

As stated by the show's producer, the Obama campaign was invited to refute Kurtz's statements which was declined.

The article where I picked up this radio clip can be found here. Yes, I know the National Review is a conservative editorial site (the best I could do on short notice, and my near ideological opposites on social issues), but regardless of the slant, the events here speak for themselves: deliberative attempts by Barack Obama and his thugs to surpress political free speech. So much for "Hope and Change."

Pushing the Justice Department for a criminal investigation over a television ad depicting a relationship? Unreal, just wow.
