Cannot wait for Civ4
That's basically everything... I cannot wait to get that game. I am planning on spending a good week of my life on it, and it will probably be the best week I've ever had.- Posted Oct 28, 2005 11:52 am GMT

Cheap Rome Total War Thing
Okay, figure this out. Rome Total War. I am the Brutii. I invade Gaul because Julii has had over one hundred years to do it and they haven't. The senate doesn't trust me but the people love me (I am close to invading rome itself). Julii attacks a huge Gaulic city full of soldiers and their Faction leader with primitive soldiers numbering only to about eight hundred. I attack from the other side with twelve hundred soldiers that are all among the strongest types available. Julii decides to attack the Gauls. I figure 'whatever', I'll just hold back and let them all be slaughtered. Nope... I can't. Instead, I am forced into battle and my soldiers slowly crawl onto the field. The Julii idiotically send their battering ram towards the gate as Gaulic horsemen come from the sides and destroy it, along with most of their army. I figure, again, 'whatever', they'll all die and I'll take the city. Most of them flee, but the Gauls turn their attention towards me as my legionaries approach the gates. I battle them all and kill over one thousand Gauls and finally take the city. I finally have an western border in Gaulic territory. The battle ends... and JULII OWN THE CITY! Figure that out... My soldiers now are more than four times more and I took the city, but Julii owns it. Their own general fled the battle. If I had lied low, the whole army would have left. Yet, I don't own the city, and the Julii are mad that I am in their territory. Stupid morons. Within ten turns, there will be a civil war. Two more little emblems on the People's side of my popularity, and I will be the true emporer of Rome, and Julii will be defeated. Can't wait... those morons.- Posted Jul 5, 2005 3:47 pm GMT

"Highly addictive" Don't believe all the negativity rooted in people's hatred for DRM. This game is quite incredible. Continue »

Command & Conquer: Generals
"Underappreciated" It plays a little differently than previous C&C games, but I think that may be why I enjoy it so much. Continue »
