Too Awesome
So Rock Band 2 will be able to use all the original Rock Band songs in addition to all the downloadable content?! And world tour mode will be playable over the internet?! If this all works out Rock Band 2 will definitely be my game of the year.

The Push to 70
So the next World of Warcraft expansion is taking signups for the beta. It's time for me to get at least one of my characters to level 70. When the expansion comes out I want to be able to go into Northrend immediately!

My best bet for reaching 70 is with my Blood Elf Hunter. He's at 57 right now. I currently have him questing in Winterspring since I haven't seen that content yet. I plan on staying in the "old world" until 60 so I can take full advantage of the quest experience boost.

All Along The Watchtower
Last week we were eating lunch at the Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant on Pier 39. They had classic rock music playing in the background. Jimi Henderix's All Along the Watchtower comes on and my four-year-old son Tyler starts bobbing his head to the music.

That's my son. He hasn't even heard the song before. He just knows good music when he hears it.

Twenty-Nine Percent
I just did a bit of math and figured out my overall completion percentage for my Xbox Live achievements is currently at 29%. I'm not as hardcore as some people so I don't expect to be in the 80's or 90's but I think I can improve on that. Of course, that include Forza 2 which I put in my 360's drive once. It'd be nice if I could remove that game from my profile since I haven't actually done anything in that game.

Anyway, I was thinking Lost would be the only game I could the full 1000 points in but after looking at the achievements for Guitar Hero: Aerosmith I think I may be able to get 1000 in that as well. The most difficult one may be getting 325K in "Same Old Song and Dance". I haven't played that song yet so I don't know how hard that might be. Beating the game on Expert may be tricky too. I'm good at the guitar games but I have yet to beat any of them on Expert. I'm really close to doing it in Rock Band but haven't completed it quite yet.

Got My Points
I recently took some time off to help care for my new baby. There wasn't a whole lot of time to play games but I did manage to accomplish...

1) Finished Lost: Via Domus and got all 1000 points

2) Got to about 44% completion on Lego: Indiana Jones

3) Played the first half of GH:Aerosmith. Got eight achievements just from that. Combined with my Lego: Indiana Jones play session that same day that makes for 11 achievements in a 24 hour period of time. That's a personal record.

Lost Finalie: Non-Spoiler Edition
I knew from listening to the official Lost audio podcast that we were going to know who was in the coffin by the end of show. When they said the name at the beginning I thought "Oh, that's cheap." But at the end when we actually see the person I thought "Wow! I didn't expect that!"

Also near the beginning of the show some people shoot their guns at each other and the absolute coolest hand-to-hand fight scene happens between a couple of characters.

Remember all that C4 explosive we saw the previous episode? Well, that little situation gets resolved.

Closer to the end something happens which we have wanted to see happen since Season 2. It made me very happy.

I think the season ended in the right way (and at the right point in time). It's obvious next season will focus on how the characters will go about solving the problem established in the final scene. And we will most likely see flashbacks/flashforwards explaining how the aforementioned problem came to be.

Straight from the Adaptec Game Bridge to your eyes and ears. This is me playing The Light the Blinds on medium difficulty. Ya, not that impressive but I just wanted to test the video recording capabilities of my new Adaptec Game Bridge.

Some squashed clips from Age of Conan's GS Game Night. This was taken using the FRAPS software, so it doesn't look as smooth as footage I take using a deck. Enjoy!
