Final Fantasy 13...
It appears that Final Fantasy 13 is an unlucky game for the PS3. As anyone who is reading this now knows that Microsoft announced that Final Fantasy 13 was no longer a PS3 exclusive. I'll admit that I felt more than a bit betrayed by Squenix(I shed a tear or two...on the inside) but then I realised that it is a good financial move for them. However I feel that if the company was still called Squaresoft that this event wouldn't have happened. But that's a folly that I can't honestly believe in. Squaresoft wouldn't be Squenix now if they weren't in financial trouble to begin with. I guess this pseudo betrayal is a sign that Square is in trouble again.
As of now I only have two hopes for FF13:
1. It won't be watered down due to the 360's weaker hardware (no offense to you 360 users). I don't mean this graphically as much as I mean it for the content. 1 BR disk is all the PS3 needs and it would be a tad annoying for 360 players to have to switch disks every so often. As for graphics, if the graphics negatively deviate from the trailers and screenshots then I will be really upset.
2. It will feel more like a Final Fantasy and not some indescribable insult to the Final Fantasy name. FF12 anyone? I'm not saying that FF12 was a bad game; just a bad FF game. 11 I can't comment on because I never played it (got addicted to Warcrack and learned my lesson on MMO's) but the rest of the FF games I can't compliment enough. They're all that good.
I've been a Final Fantasy Fan since I first saw FF7 on a demo disk that came with my PS1. Though I didn't get FF7 until a week before FF8 came out I did get FFTactics. FFT was indeed my first final fantasy that I owned. FF7 was the second and still remains my favorite. As a huge fan of the FF series I was disappointed with FF12, but I am far more disappointed with the news of FF13. I hope this downward spiral doesn't continue. I have faith that FF13 will be awesome; but to what degree will it be so?

Guitar Hero 3...this is hilarious
So I'm donating my old computers to the local Goodwill. After I finished with my donations I decided to look around and see if I can find anything interesting. Well I did...Guitar Hero 3 for the PS3. I said, "hey that's odd...I wonder how much it is." So I looked at the price tag expecting to see something around $80 or $90 but the price was actually $30. "Sounds too good to be true," I told myself so I asked the cashier if I could have a look-see at the contents of the box. Well the guitar, disc, and everything else were in pristine condition. Well I immediately bought the game and took it home. I at once unloaded its contents and read the instructions. So I did just what the instructions said. At first I thought it was taking a little too long for the controller to sync up with the "dongle" so I replaced the batteries. I tried to turn it on again...with mixed results. The controller and the dongle immediately synced up but every now and then the connection between the controller and the dongle would flash off and then back on. I made it probably halfway through the game until I was fed up and said, "well this stinks, let's see what the Red Octane site says." So I boot up my PC and go into the forums to see what they say I should do. The forums told me that I might be standing too far or too close to the dongle for the controller to properly sync up. Well I was standing about five feet from the dongle whenever I was playing so I thought I might be too close and I backed up. Well guess what, it still flashed every so often. I go back to Red Octane to see what else they would say to do. Well long story short I did every last thing on that site...and it still didn't work. So I look at the limited warranty and thought that I might be able to exchange the guitar for a working one. I've submitted the form and am waiting on their response. They say it might take 3 business days to process my order...this'll take a while. Hopefully Red Octane will take pity on me and give me a working guitar. Well I guess it really was too good to be true. lol...*sigh*
EDIT: I decided the next day to just take it to EB and get a new Guitar+dongle. Got both replaced and now the game works perfectly
