Well the blog title speaks pretty much for itself. Quite happy I hit both milestones on the same day, and it certainly took a while to get to them
Also, I'm surprised at how good Mirror's Edge was. Extremely short and easy, even without guns on the highest difficulty, but bloody fantastic! I'm so glad it's different from all of today's military shooters, feels very original and unique. The soundtrack is amazing, gives the game a brilliant atmosphere.
It's good to know they decided not to cancel Mirror's Edge 2

My second union, the Battlefield: Bad Company Union, has been dead for some time now. TBH I'd rather not go through the effort of reviving it, and there seems to be another active Battlefield union on GS, so there's no point really. And I don't feel like turning it into a union about something else either :/
If anyone would like to have it, please let me know
Also, I will most likely have Portal 2 by the end of this week, so I'll post thoughts on it as soon as I finish

There are many, many great games coming out this year, but these five I think will be the best...
- Mass Effect 3
- Dragon Age 2
- Battlefield 3
- inFamous 2
- Uncharted 3
The first two are easily explained; BioWare is my favorite dev and every game I played from them hasn't disappointed me one bit.
Battlefield is my favorite shooter series, and BF3 is looking absolutely stunning! It looks like DICE is definitely going beyond the awesomeness that was BF2 and BC2 to deliver an even better experience.
TBH, I was kinda skeptical of inFamous 1 when I got it off a friend. I wasn't expecting much since most people agreed that the game was overrated, but it actually turned out to be very interesting. The twist was really good and I'm looking forward to how the story plays out in number two.
And finally, Uncharted. It's gonna be awesome

Ok, as some of you may know, last time I played Dragon Age I was really put off by it and never bothered to complete it (only played for 20 minutes
).Today, I got a lend of it again, and I must say, why the **** was I put off the last time?
Playing it now, it's a BRILLIANT game, really enjoying it.Can't wait for DA2!
Oh and if anyone has some useful tips, I'd really appreciate the help

Well over two weeks have gone by now, and GS still can't fix the damn achievement pictures. It's getting annoying.
Also, the Battlefield servers have been acting up lately. Don't think they were ever this bad. When you can get a game, it's incredibly laggy.
But I still manage to kick ass though

I'm nearly halfway into the game and it's been great so far! The story is very gripping, and there's tons of new features, combat improvements, etc.
The multiplayer is also something new and interesting, but I haven't put much time into it yet.
More insights once I'm finished it.

I've finally created a Steam account! I'm really hoping that the Unreal Deal (pack of all UT games) goes on sale soon, and many other games besides. I'm really liking all the constant discounts. Add me, my username is N7v1K0 (of course
).Also, I've bought General Knoxx and New Revolution DLCs for Borderlands. I think I'm close to finishing Knoxx, and it's been amazing so far. All the car variety and other new stuff is great!

I've had Just Cause 2 for a while, but now I'm set on getting the game 100% complete, as well as getting all the achievements.
Currently I have 96% complete. I only need around 75 faction items, and maybe 20-30 sabotages to get that other 4%. Conquering the citites and towns, particularly the four districts of Panau City was a huge pain in the ***.
All the districts had something hidden, like a gas station under a highway, or a statue among a thick group of trees. I've spent over 75 hours playing this game, and it's gonna take at least 5 more to get 100%.Then there's the achievements. I've only 2 left, the ones for completing the game on experienced and hardcore. I've begun a playthrough on hardcore to kill two birds with one stone. That'll easily take at least another 10 hours!
To those who haven't played JC2 yet, I highly recommend it. It's absolutely fun mayhem!

What's up everyone? I'm back to my normal posting now!
Holiday was great, might post some pics later.
To current news now; I've purchased Alan Wake and Metro 2033, which are both great (particularly Alan Wake), and also ME: Retribution. It is set to arrive in about 2 weeks.
I am outraged by the fact that PS3 will get ME2 early next year. Those EA SOB's probably want more money in their goddamn pockets. And to top things, they're giving PS3 "hours of bonus content." Hopefully the word "exclusive" stays away from that quote.

Well, this day one year ago I joined GS. I was a very frequent poster on the official ME forums before G00DANG persuaded me to join MEU.
I was quite reluctant at first as I had the typical BioWare forumite attitude of "**** the other fansites, the official forums is where it's at."
In the end, curiousity won over and I joined.I wasn't too active at first and still spent my time on the official ME forums. As time passed, I started to find the official forums boring. They got an influx of new people, and more and more of the old faces left. MEU, meanwhile, was much more interesting, so I forgot about the officials completely.
Before long, I found myself an officer, and then you know the rest!
Hopefully, the level of epicness on GameSpot and MEU remains as good as it is now!
(PS, I really didn't know what to write for this, so that's kinda why it's a bit awkward!

Btw, it was my B-day on Saturday! I got RDR (which is damn good

There's something not quite right with Fuse. It isn't updating and it's showing this as my rarest achievement (it's one of the most common lol), when it's actually this (sorry for no link, strangely enough the page is broken

You wouldn't believe the weather we're getting here in Ireland! It's around 24 (Celcius) in the shade, and around 30 degrees in the sun! The last time I experienced weather like this was last summer when I went abroad.
The best we ever expect in May is 13-18 degrees.
