  Gaming Update New Purchases, Games beaten/playing, and other gaming News!

  Welcome everyone, i hope everyone liked my Blog Series About Canceled Rare Games cause i really wanted to shine some light on some great titles that we will probably never see, which is sad.. but also shows just how much hard work and effort goes into each game and i think we as the consumer sometimes forget how long and how hard it is to make a game from start to finish.. But i would like to have a top 15 Rare Games countdown as well, but i think it will be down the road since i don't want to overkill the subject of Rareware too much.. I have another planned countdown for  Top 10 Characters for Super Smash Bros Wiiu/3DS and  Top 10 Kart Racers and more so stay tuned..

   

  As for new purchases i have made a few since my last update so lets get to it!

   

  

  I figured the price would go down for this game, glad i both waited and bought this game for like 35 bucks its well worth it, the game is a masterpeice every way through bringing back lots of good memories of RPGs and why i love the dying genre even more. I feel more games should be like this game and its easily one of the best RPG's for PS3 amazing graphics, touching story, fun gameplay, witty story telling and lots of depth, like peeling an onion i feel like i am just hitting the surface of what this game has to offer..

  

  My older bro Bought this for me for my birthday and i am very happy he did and thankful. LBP Karting was a game that was looking forward to all last year, but when bad reviews came upon release i kinda loss a bit of interest and hoping for a price drop. It feels like LBP and features all the great customazation and creativty the series is known for. The Controls are a tad touchy and power ups are crazy making this even more hextic then mario kart at times.. But Overall i am having a lot of fun with this game and i think people are too hard on the game, it exactly what i expected LBP karting to be.. so whats to complain?!

   

  

  YES!! My favorite Rolling Armadillo is back in another awesome 3D Western Tower Defense action game! With Improved Graphics, New Allies/Rangers, improved Salon Segements and a new Train to protect, the game has everything a Rolling western Fan would like. So if you enjoyed the first on or are looking for somthing new and fun on 3DS give Dillon a Roll.. 

  

  I thought i give this game a try after seeing pretty good reviews and watching vids the game is all about platforming collecting Acorns and doing so in the fast time possible.. its a very simple fun game that is a nice addition to my 3DS eshop Library..

  I plan to write a full review for this exciting installment of the Luigi's Mansion series, but overall The Gamespot review of this game had to be the worse pile of crap i have ever read and the lady just stinks at the game. its something the 3DS owners need to play, it features fun missions that breakdown each mansion and awesome ending.. It has more of nintendo Mario feel and its perfect for Portable play.. for more see my review in the upcoming Days/weeks whenever i feel like it!! lol

  The Top 15 Canceled Rareware Games Part 3 (5-1)

  Its been fun going through All these Rare games that could have been i feel like a lot of them would have made great games and its a shame these games have not come out. Also I would have put Killer Instict 3 Higher on the list however i am holding out hope that we may still get the Next Killer Instict game, which would be mind blowing.. so lets finish this list a quick recap..

  Donkey Kong Racing (Gamecube)

  -A game i always wanted to play, a spirtual Sequel to Diddy Kong Racing, except taking Land, Air, and Water Racing and replacing the Cars with Animals from the Donkey Kong Series, the game jus sounds so cool but only one i might add Good Trailer was shown off. But since Microsoft bought Rare soon after all DK properties return to Nintendo and Rare was left with the concept, they tried to turn the game into Sabreman Stampede even before both games never were released sadly..

  4. Project Dream (SNES)

  -Project Dream was this expansive RPG game that would have involved a boy taking on a band of evil pirates and would have featured intense seabattles, expansive lands and characters. The game has only one Screen Shot and info on this game is very sparce, however this was the "dream" game the Rareware guys wanted to make but the hardware limits of both SNES and N64 made Project Dream more of a dream.. eventually this game would be turned into Banjo and Kazooie, as both were in Project Dream as side characters.. Also you can see the main Pirate villian in Banjo talking about project dream its pretty cool they have that in the game.. I think with next gen hardware Project Dream would be awesome for Xbox Infinity

  3. Banjo Threeie

  -So apparently Banjo Nuts and Bolts was really mixing 2 different Banjo Games into 1. Banjo Kazoomie and Banjo Threeie. But that never really worked out as well as they hoped for and the game had negative critizim by both press and consumer when we had Lego cars and doing different missions to earn jiggies and TT trophies, which felt so unBanjo to me.. were is the exploration! Everyone wanted a Banjo 3D Platforming game, where you collect jiggies, music notes and gain power ups through Kazooie.. Its terrible how we never got Banjo 3 Cause in 360 Graphics of our classic gameplay with new levels and characters and such it would have been the best game on 360, instead of having 2 great games we have 1 messed up one.. thanks..

  2. Another Bad Fur Day (N64/Xbox/360)

  -So you thought Conker was done after Bad Fur day, but Rare had plans to make another Conker game on N64 or Gamecube/Xbox and eventually 360. The game would have picked off right were Bad fur day ended where you are the king, however soon after your rulership the kingdom goes way south spending money on drugs, hookers, and straight partying, Conker has everything in a mess.. Soon a New Villian comes and takes over the Crown to make the kingdom better and throws Conker in Prison. Which then the game would start.. Sounds like an amazing idea for another Conker game.. sadly we probably have seen the last of conker, since It was turned into Live and Reloaded on Xbox instead of making a completely new game like they hoped, i believe the multiplayer was based on the new games since i heard it was going to involve the Teddy Wars like in multiplayer..

  Dinosaur Planet (N64)

  -This game was the first game as a kid i was geeking out about. I was such a fan of Rare games and Dinosaurs, as a elementry schooler i loved dinosaurs all things Dinosaurs since it was like Real creatures that used to live on this planet and it really interested me alot. When Dinosaur planet was annouced i thought they were like creating a game for me. 2 Characters with sidekicks on a journey to reunite with one another. The game looked like a better Zelda game and Rares most ambitious project with a sidekick dinosur for each character (reminds me of the dog in Fable 2/3) This game still geeks me out, but Nintendo had to ruin the game.. Putting in StarFox COMPLETELY CHANGED THE GAME!! the whole story was gone, characters and bosses were changed and Star Fox Adventures is too painful for me to play even to this day because how badly i wanted to play Dinosaur Planet on N64 it would have been the best game on the console IMO and when Rare Golden Age was N64.

  Top 15 Canceled Rare Games Part 2: 10-6

  Welcome back to my countdown! Rare has always been a personal favorite video game company as a kid, since i grew up during the N64,Ps1 era Rare was my favorite Nintendo company, the first game i got for N64 as a kid was Diddy Kong Racing and it was amazing! to this day it stands up but sadly Rare is just a shell of its former self and therefore lots of unfinished games and projects were left undone never to finished and that just sucks sometimes since a lot of these games sound really cool.. so lets get started!

  -Perfect Dark Core (Xbox 360)

  -The Planned Follow up to the Perfect Dark Series, Perfect Dark Core would have brought a whole new realism with the series, including up close situations in combat and survival ie Mirrors edge like, and a new mech, which were a stable in Perfect Dark Zero, getting a well needed boost and realism future.. to me it sounded really cool and its history as Perfect Dark is essientally Golden Eye 2 with a original storyline which i think is brilliant, but sadly it never finished when the company broke up after Banjo Nuts and Bolts..

  Conker 64: Twelve Tales

  -Before Conker was Bad Fur Day, another idea of a conker game was pitched, a much more kid friendly game with colorful graphics and where conker would take on roles from different books with unique settings like Wild West, with Gold Mining, and more. Also planned was berri playable and being kid friendly with no huge bonkers.. i think this game would not have been as loved as Conker's Bad Fur day which is a cult classic, but i think if they took another character from Diddy kong racing such as Pipsy and Timber it would have been a different game.. oh well..

  8. Quest (Nintendo Gamecube/Xbox)

  -Quest was a super Secret Game in works about an online MMO Space Shooter. Not a lot is known about the project and its sad since it seems like it could have been a cool game, apparently in the works for 2 years sadly nothing is shown

  -Banjo Kazoomie (Xbox 360)

  -Believe it or not Banjo Nuts and Bolts was actually just a combination of 2 Rare Banjo Projects going on around the same time. Banjo Kazoomie was suppose to be a build your own Vehicle racing game where you would race people in different tracks and so on.. apparently this was also a reason why Banjo was in Sonic All-Stars Racing in that we were possibly getting this game.. ufourtantley we got Banjo Nuts and Bolts instead of this game another game high on my list!!

  Sabreman Stampede (XBox 360)

  -Sabreman was originally a game character way back in the 8 bit or even earlier era of gaming.. Sabrewulf i believe was the name and there is actually a half decent GBA Sabreman and a Sabreman Cameo in Banjo Tooie in a mission.. but this was going to be a big 3D open world Animal riding game featuring your favorite safari man! Everything i see on this game looks almost done or to me it looks like i would play it, unfourtantly the team was cut down after work shifted to Kameo to complete the game.. and this was push to the side, this game was in development for a long time taking different forms and such, plus another game later on this list.. Overall this game looked like it had a lot of potential and I would have probably bought it, but sadly its another game we probably wont see..
