    From NBA.com

Last June, Derrick Rose was the first player selected in the 2008 Draft. On All-Star Saturday Night, Rose was first again.

Finishing off his winning time of 35.3 seconds with an emphatic double-pump reverse dunk, the Chicago Bulls guard became the first rookie to win the PlayStation Skills Challenge when he defeated New Jersey's Devin Harris in the championship round.

"It means a lot," Rose said of the win. "I'm a part of history with some of the greatest players in the league that have won this award."

Rose, who leads all rookies with 6.3 assists per game, finished the course 4.4 seconds faster than the Nets' point guard did.

Rose also breezed through his first round with a time of 33.3 seconds, 3.3 seconds ahead of Harris, 4.2 seconds ahead of Cleveland's Mo Williams and nearly a quarter of a minute faster than San Antonio's Tony Parker's 50.8 seconds. The Spurs' point guard now holds the dubious distinction of having the two slowest times ever recorded in Skills Challenge history. In 2003, Parker finished the course in 45.5 seconds.

Rose, however, made his two runs look easy, never using more than two attempts at any station in either round. He admitted, however, one station proved to be a little nerve-wracking.

"The bounce pass," Rose said. "I knew when I got those two in, the crowd got to me and I came up a little short on my jump shots. I was scared a little bit.

"But the bounce pass was the hardest thing."

In the championship round, Harris found the top of the key jumper to be the most difficult. Harris has shown an improved outside shot this season, but his stroke left him when it counted. He needed four attempts to sink the 20-footer.

Rose needed only two shots to complete the shooting station. And despite needing two passes to get through the outlet station, Rose had plenty of time to measure his funky dunk. Rose said he was inspired by a two-time Skills Challenge champ to finish off his win with flair.

"I always saw D-Wade [dunk] at the end," Rose said.

Maybe next year, Rose can be the first player since Wade to go back-to-back.

"I really can't wait," Rose said. "Of course the season isn't over with, but next year -- this summer, I'll work harder, work on my weaknesses and just go hard throughout the whole summer."

Okay, so the Rookies just came up short in the end, but it was a very nice game, Kevin Durant setting a scoring record, and I gotta say, I love all the purple/orange colorways(they make me happy )

Beasley, the top scorer of the Rookies: 29pts

KD throwing down for 2 of his 46pts

And of course, I wouldn't be a good Bulls fan, if I didn't post Derrick Rose, who played a pretty laid back game, finishing with 4pts and 7ast

The All-Star ballot has been released, and for the first time in years, the Bulls got a player that really deserves to be there, Derrick Rose, he's the most complete rookie this season(he's on pace to matching LeBron's stat-line for his rookie season), and has right away taken the role of leader, in the Bulls line-up, at which he has excelled.

And with a stat-line that says: 19.5ppg(2nd for PG's in the East) 4.8rpg(1st for PG's in the East) 5.9apg(5th for PG's in East) putting him in 2nd on the categories combined, he deserves your votes, especially when you consider he's the 2nd most efficient PG in the East, he should be an All-Star!!!

So vote often, vote Derrick Rose, you can click the icon at the top, or this LINK

Unfortunately, you got to be registered with NBA.com to vote, this is free though, and pretty straight forward, and gives any basketball-fan some very nice extras, including some great prices/rewards for US residents voting for the All-Star Game.

Had to go to the dentist today, to have 2 fillings redone(they wore out), and he did a top-job, a shot of anaesthesia, he drilled the old fillings out, put the new ones in, and I was back on the street within 25 mins, with an even better bite than I had when I came in.

Finally it's here, I got some work to finish, but then I can finally share in the World of LBP goodness

It took a while for it to release here, but I finally got a copy in my hands, it's already making me happy.

I got a malware attack tonight, and I nearly fell for it, I was just cruising through basketball stats, when all of a sudden, I get a Windows-Defender alarm screen, and it looked totally legit, it said someone had stolen information off my PC, nothing sensitive(it said the info stolen was that I'm from the Netherlands, my IP(which is flexible), and my city Amersfoort(which is wrong, cause I don't live in Amersfoort)), but with my dense head, I click the button, the program is telling me to.

A pop-up gets blocked, so I think I'll check that out, because having a MicroSoft program block a MicroSoft download, usually doesn't happen, and what do I see...no certificate on the download, then suddenly my mind starts up again, and I notice the program warning me is HTTP, and isn't secured, I freaked out, and right away go to my real Defender, and Virus scanner to see what's happening, luckily all my security programs didn't find any malware or viruses, but I'm literally shaking, because I fell for it, I don't get confronted with this stuff often, but it always pisses me off, it's a cowards way, of attacking people.

Sorry if I'm not making to much sense, I'm just so mad.
