The Lord of the Rings references between Geralt and Iorveth kept making me chuckle. Well Deus Ex is shorter if that helps deciding.

Gotta love the Lord of the Rings reference shared between Iorveth and Geralt as they made fun of a statement another character made. I was grinning from ear to ear.
I'm at Act 3 again. Act 2 couldn't have been more different. Following Vernon Roche leads you to a more politically charged storyline dealing with nations and the balance of power. Following Iorveth and his Scoia'tael leads you to a more mystical story. Regardless, playing through the game and seeing this side of the story helps flesh things out more. Each tale is incredibly entertaining, but they also help one another out.
Geralt of Rivia, Vernon Roche and Iorveth are three of the baddest motherf*ckers around. Assassins of Kings is one of the greatest games ever made and I can't wait to see what I find with it at the end. It's taken over all of my free time. All of it. I literally sit on my ass, engrossed by this game. I even came up with an excuse to tell my friends last thursday about how I couldn't hang out.... but all I did was play The Witcher 2. I don't want it to end, but each time I can't wait to see how it all ends.
I know I mentioned starting Deus Ex next, but now I'm mulling over Final Fantasy VII as well. I doubt anyone could complain about either choice. Both are considered two of the greatest RPGs ever made. I guess it'll depend on my mood once I finish Assassins of Kings.
