Should I Start My First Prestige?
Well guys, today I played a hell of a lot of Call of Duty. I went from level 51 to 55 online, today. I think I ended up playing the game for a total of 6 hours. Yes, I level very slowly. Anyways, I am approaching that decision...Whether or not to start all over. When I initially got this game, my goal was to go all the way to the top. Now, I don't know, things feel different. You guys are probably laughing at me in asking you for help in such a minor situation...But I was just curious to see your opinions. Anyways, leveling up today was a really fun time for me. My eyes hurt badly though. I can't play games for longer than usually 5 hours straight, which is some pretty weak sauce (just had to say that.) It's always been that way. Today I went overboard, so now I am about to fall asleep. I feel as though the extra effort I put in to the game was worth it. I played really well today. I usually suck big time online. But I improved so much... Initially, this morning, my kill to death ratio was .69 (I know really horrible )...and now, it is .78. It may not sound like much to some of you, but that is a huge improvement for me. I also had one match where I had 24 kills and 2 deaths. Some of you guys are probably laughing about that, but to me, that is really extreme. For the most part I played Team Deathmatch...which is what I usually end up playing. However, I also started doing some headquarters, which was fun...and for me, an easy way to get a lot of experience relatively quickly. I think I'm obsessed with Call of Duty once again. I haven't been playing too much the past few weeks, but now I am back into it. Now, back to the topic...I am pretty sure I will start again, simply because I am the kind of person who really enjoys leveling up...even if it means starting all the way over. Still, I figure I'd hear what you guys had to say about it. Tomorrow, I will probably take that giant step...in starting over. Peace,

Movies I Need to Watch

Hey guys, just thought I'd blog again...I've been doing a lot recently, for some reason. Anyways, everyone (here and my friends) has been raving about Wall-E. I am really looking into this movie now, haha. It looks really good. I loved Toy Story and many are saying that it beats Toy Story...not to mention that the majority of these people are teenagers. They were little when Toy Story came out, and they think Wall-E is better. That surprises me. Oh, and there is no reason as to why I haven't gone. I'm not embaras.sed about going to see it, even with an audience of annoying little kids...(me being a teenager:lol. I sort of want to wait, just to have better experience watching it at my house. Then again, I don't know if I can wait that long. Oh well, I will have to make a decision. I'm most likely seeing it, pretty soon. I've got time, since it is a relatively new release. There are other movies I need to see. I need to see Indiana Jones, don't know why I missed it. The others are The Incredible Hulk, The Dark Knight (really want to see that one), and Hancock. I did manage to catch some recent movies. I already talked about Narnia, Zohan, and Iron Man, but I also recently saw Get Smart. I will probably not review it, so I'll give it a score: 7/10. I'd recommend you seeing it, but don't consider it as your first choice. There are so many great movies out this summer. Oh, I forgot to mention that I should get around to seeing Wanted one of these days. I heard great things about that one too. The one movie that I heard sucked was the Love Guru...not seeing it. But yeah, that is all. Peace,

Late Fourth of July Blog
Hey guys, just wanted to talk a bit about yesterday (4th of July). I had a great time yesterday...some of the family came over, and we played badminton and shot golf balls in the back. I just finished going to golf camp, and I fell in love with the sport. So yeah, now I'm a golfer. The badminton tournament was intense. And then we played some sweet Xbox Live, one of the most memorable times I've had online. We played a bunch of Halo and then traded off playing Grand Theft Auto IV. We stayed up until around 4 in the morning, so I'm really tired (especially since I woke up early). But yeah, I had a great time, despite the rain canceling the fireworks. Hope you guys had a great holiday.
And an observation: I'm nearing 9000 posts. Peace,

My Story on the Retrieval of the World Ends With You

This blog title sucks... I have to say...Most of you are probably like OMG did he get in a car accident on the way??? or OMG did he run into crocodiles along the way??? or just...OMG!!!!!!! So I'm sorry to say this blog title relates to no awesome story...Just my frantic search for the game. Anyways, moving on...
I got the World Ends With You (if you didn't know by now). It is a fantastic game, but I really don't feel like talking about it at the moment, because I don't feel as though I've diven deep enough into the game...or something like that. I just need to spend some more time playing before I give off my impressions of it. The controls were said to be hard at first, and they were indeed...Especially hard enough for me since I had to use a pen cap instead of my stylus. So yeah, hard stuff. Despite that, the game rocks. But I hate the main character (I a$$ume he is anyway). He acts like a brat, not a teenager. He even acts this way to a dude who has like 5 times the amount of muscle he does. But I guess I'd go loco if that happened to me (won't get into the whole story in this blog)...Speaking of stories...I had to go through a bunch of stuff to get this game.
It first started off with me just glancing at all of the DS titles available at the Gamespot or Eb I was in. Out of the 6 I looked in, none of them had it. Today I went to two of them and asked...both said no. Then I went to Circuit City and searched through all of the games there...only not to find it. Finally, Best Buy had it. Three copies in fact. So I reluctantly grabbed one and bought it. Sweet. The tenth store I checked out had it...the last of the 4 today. So yeah, cool beans.
It is just resting on my desk, ready to be played...So yeah. See ya

The Current Games on My Wanted List
There have been really terrific games launched this year, and I have fortunately been able to get my hands on quite a few of them. Still, there are some that I really need to get. And of course, there is another that I want really bad, but am unable to obtain. Let's start this list with the game that I am unable to get...
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

I have heard fantastic things about this game, and I really enjoyed the little I got to play this series. Whether I'm watching this game, reading a few reviews, or hearing the constant raving from friends, this game has been praised. The predicament I face is obvious: I don't have a PS3. I'm not counting (or waiting) on a release on the Xbox 360, so I just have to skip out on this game, sadly. I will not getting a PS3, let alone just for one game. However, there is always a possibility that I can borrow one and play this masterpiece of a game. Until then, I have no chance of playing this game...
--
Thankfully, MGS4 is pretty much the only game I flat out can't get. But of course, there are some great games that I really want and can have. There is currently one game that I really want to purchase that is already out. Thus leading to my second category: currently launched games that I can buy...The name of the game is...
The World Ends With You

I keep telling myself to get this game once I get the chance, but to be honest, I haven't really kept a keen eye out for it. I probably will eventually purchase it. I really want it since my DS has no action at the moment (though it will in the near future). Plus, this game has often been acclaimed as the "best DS game ever." Not that I generally go by the hype, I do want this game based on opinions strictly. After writing this, I may go watch some videos of this game to get a further heads up on it. But yeah, The Wolrd Ends With You is definitely on the top of my wanted list.
--
Next are the top 3 games that I want in the near future...
Final Fantasy IV

I want this game for two primary reasons:
1) I loved Final Fantasy 3 on the DS.
2) I have never played Final Fantasy 4.
Really though, this game is going to be fantastic. I love Final Fantasy games in general, but Final Fantasy 3 is one of my all time favorite DS games. In fact, in ranks second on my list...Nothing can top Dawn of Sorrow. Anyways, I really am looking forward to this game's release in...I believe July. I read some previews on it, and I am completely stoked for it. I also promised myself this: Gamespot's score of this game will not cause me to buy or not buy it. The same goes for all three of the games I want in the future.
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

To be honest, I know nothing about this game, yet I still need to get it when it is released. Primarily because, as mentioned, Dawn of Sorrow is my favorite DS game, and I am pretty sure this game will be great. I also really enjoyed Portrait of Ruin, which gives me more positive thoughts on this game. I am going to read about the previews of this game, as well as look at some images...but I'm pretty sure those things won't change my mind in getting this game. I know I want it, and I am really looking forward to its hopeful 2008 release.
Gears of War 2

This is the final game on my most wanted list...And it is the one I am anticipating the most. I already had a fantastic experience with the first Gears of War, and this game looks so much better. I read countless articles about it and am continuously fascinated by the new things I learn about it. Whether it's the new modes online, or I'm watching footage of the new campaign, this game is one I know will be superb in all regards. I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT! (caps)

That is all. I won't be very active this coming week due to golf camp, but I'll be around. If I don't have time to make a blog for it... Happy Fourth of July! Peace,

Battlefield: Bad Company First Impressions
Hey guys, I am back from a week and a half vacation. Today I was on Xbox Live and was chatting with one of my friends during a match in Call of Duty 4. He kept on raving about how great Battlefield was and it urged me to get it myself. I was curious before I headed to the mall to pick it up. It did get great ratings and more important to me, my friend really liked it...So I went with 50 bucks at my arsenal along with a couple of games to trade in, and I bought it. Thus, I bring you my impressions on Battlefield: Bad Company.

Time Spent- 45 minutes on the campaign and approximately 20 minutes online
The minute I got this game I started the campaign on the normal difficulty setting. You start off learning the fundamentals, such as aiming and blowing up a house. I like the controls a lot, they remind me of Call of Duty 4. The only action I don't particularly like is the crouching. You click in the Left analog stick to crouch low, which is alright, but I wished you could crawl. It isn't that big of a deal though, it's basically the same thing as Halo. The health system is completely different from either of these games, however. Instead of simply recovering your health by taking cover, this game requires you to heal yourself by pressing LB and then the right trigger. In some ways I like this, because it makes things more challenging. You have to wait for a brief amount of time in order to use this health system. The amount of health you have is shown by a number...100 being the highest and 0 causing you to die. This is similar to games such as Doom. Anyways, this game is really entertaining to me. Being able to blow up nearly anything is a huge plus. I really enjoy that. The graphics in this game are also really realistic, and very good. The campaign so far has been enjoyable, and I look forward to getting right back into it. This game is actually pretty challenging so far, since the enemies are pretty smart. Your allies are not the worst in this game, they actually help kill enemies and protect you. So yeah, the campaign is fantastic in my little time spent playing it.
The multiplayer in this game is also really fun, and it is my favorite part. I sucked, but I had a great time in the 2 matches I played. I played a match that can be best described as a Territories in Halo or Headquarters in Call of Duty. It was really fun, and I managed to get some kills for my team. I also am really happy that they have a ranking system, even though I am only on the second rank. I can't wait to try out some more multiplayer.
Overall this game is really good and is worthy of being in anyone's collection. I am off to play some more of it. I hope you guys enjoyed hearing about my first impressions of the game. When I complete it, I will post a review of the game. Peace,
