    Mobilizing...

I wonder what would it be like if more than 20 people cared about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized. After all, if you check the boards on Gamefaqs.com, what feels like half of them are about a game called "MPH", which is supposedly Metroid Prime Hunters, one of the first DS Shooters. Most of the time, the boards are about how "OMG MPH PWNS Call of Duty!!!111". Its all very discouraging for a fan of the DS Call of Duties (me, if you couldn't guess) to have to sift through the garbage of people spamming the forums with stuff no one wants to read about just to get to oft repeated forum topics. But that, my friends and anyone else, is not the point of this.

I really want to know why Activision isn't even trying, it seems, to advertise this game. I'm still playing its predecessors, and you can see my reviews at this location for Modern Warfare and this location for World at War. It's always strange when you know less about the port of a game than that actual game itself, yes?

I really hate how some people are stupid enough to compare the portable game to the console/PC game. After all, you can't expect a handheld to produce the same graphics as "Black" for PS2, now can you? (By the way, Black looks awesome)

I'm running out of things to say.

Here are the things I would like Modern Warfare: Mobilized to have:

    1. A character whose name is clearly stated, like in Modern Warfare 1. In MW, there was Cpl. Parker, Bravo 9, Thunder 1-1's gunner, and that rescue team guy who's name was never stated because he only appears in Hard Impact. Then again, Thunder 1-1's gunner was never named either, but his C-130's callsign was.

    2. No zoom for weapons other than sniper rifle. I actually liked having no zoom because I still had my peripheral vision. It's easier to see targets on the far side of the screen with no zoom, so therefore, it's an advantage. (Only seen in WaW)

    3. Two-three shot kills (WaW). This one's a given. Those blasted 20 shot kills sucked, but at least you could take that much too.

    4. Single card multiplayer (MW). Since only gh0st_sp1rit feels like buying the game, I'd like this feature so I can slaughter Khunkurisu should he ever try to play single card.

    5. Being able to pick up dropped weapons in MP (MW, I think). In Modern Warfare's multi card play, you were able to take weapons from other players if you killed them. I want that.

    6. Better tie-ins with the "older brother" games (MW, kind of). Modern Warfare had the ship level, supposedly the other ship mentioned was the one in "Crew Expendable" in the other versions of MW. Some have said "On Approach" and "Hard Impact" happen at the same time as "The Bog", or "Shock and Awe", but I do not know. I want some better than that.

    7. Recurring characters (WaW). I'd like to have some main characters other than the playable ones, basically, that carry over between missions. Plus, I'd like to know what happened to Petrovich. (I am hoping he is the endgame boss!!!)

    Yay.

    Omega189, mobilizing.

This is gameplay footage of a map that I created using FPS Creator Free and Hypercam. Apologies for the frame rate, but it was the best I could do. And yes, the guy at the end is a (spoiler deleted)
